its Oblivion, not Morrowind on flash atm.
Check again. Morrowind is 75% off, usually during daily/flash deals franchise sales are implied but obviously Skyrim is excluded here (expected, as Morrowind/Oblivion weren't on sale during the Skyrim deals).
ah ic... would you recommend it?
Haven't played it. What I WOULD recommend is you buying it to trade with me for Trine 2! :p

Where are you located? It's very clearly a flash sale right now in the US and I expect everywhere else as well (excluding regions where the game isn't sold).

Maybe the fact that it was among the top sellers this whole time anyway (because of DayZ, obviously) had something to do with it.
I would just like to try DayZ for a bit. I'm not planning to start grinding it like crazy (simply can't right now or in the near future). Also my friends won't be getting it unless it's cheap, which it isn't.

Both of you should reevaluate just how greedy you guys sound too. Yeah, they have a successful game on their hands through a mod no doubt. Why should they lower the price? It's not like they're even a full priced game as it is... Just because every other game is going through large sales isn't really an excuse for them to do to the same. They were doing well before the sale, so they aren't going to change that.
Besides. Two days left still. We have some really impatient/hard to please people here sometimes don't we...
You know, I'm not really with him on all that.. But you are right, there is still time and really I'm all for game developers getting paid. Especially when it's a hard core PC game like this.
I'm having trouble purchasing Steam games now that I live in Japan. Apparently I have to live in the same place I say my billing address is otherwise it doesn't let me go through. T^T Hopefully their tech support can help me out. I don't want to miss out on the Oblivion and Morrowind sale today, I already missed out on the Super Meat Boy and LA Noire sale yesterday.

Have PayPal? I'll help you out. PM me your Steam ID if interested.
And yeah, Steam customer support isn't exactly top-tier... or high-tier... or mid-tier... :x

Yep, its definitely worth every penny, i got it yesterday and played like 11 hours till now, its super awesome holy shat, if you havent got it yet SHAME ON YOU!
OK, need a final decision cuz i gotta run off in a minute, is Oblivion (i think morrowind is too dated for me unfortunately) worth paying 5$ for when I already have a ton of games to get into and I'm still playing through Skyrim, just because of how good it is and because of its awesome mods?

Morrowind is the BEST RPG ever imho, Oblivion is 2nd and Skyrim goes last. Maybe the graphics are a little bite outdated in Morrwind, but if you truly enjoy awesome RPG's with an endless World and hundreds of epic and unique quests, Morrowind is the purchase to make (for 5€, i couldnt resist but grab it instantly myself! :D).
The Morrowind Overhaul mod brings the graphics up to pretty much Oblivion standard without making any changes to gameplay. (Link)

Dude, go get Morrowind and Oblivion! You won't regret it, i promise you. I still play Morrowind even if it was released 10 years ago, its mechanics are just awesome, better than skyrim if you dont mind the graphic. But yeah, Oblivion is totally worth the money, too. Good sales as for today!

Then enjoy.

Should mention that that mod requires both Morrowind and Oblivion, unless I'm mistaken.

K guys thnks for the advice, I just purchased Oblivion, I'm going to hold off on Morrowind though, I just don't see myself putting enough time to it (yeah i hear its great and all, but i have tons of other games to play too, and im a bit "greedy" with graphcis so i think its better to just get oblivion.) thanks again guys!

I'm not aware of this requirement and there doesn't seem to be any mention of it on either moddb or its official page; I wouldn't be surprised if the mod uses assets from Oblivion although it'd be odd if the game itself was required.

You're mistaken, I've never had Oblivion and that mod works fine.
By the way Morrowind is 1000000000000000 times better than Skyrim, highly recommended. Nothing beats making your own broken high jump spell and jumping to the top of the world and using the endless field of vision hack. By the way Oblivion is pretty much the worst one of the trio
Morrowind has the best mods ever and has just so much to do. There's probably hundreds of dungeons that you can explore. I probably spent months just running around doing those dungeons. Skyrim really felt tiny to me in comparison, not to mention Oblivion which is even smaller than Skyrim.

Ah, alright. Maybe I'm thinking of a different graphics overhaul mod or else maybe it required both games in the past but not anymore. Thanks for clearing that up.
Am I the only one who doesnt like/(understand?) the fighting system in Morrowind at all? I tried to play this game 3 times and I always found myself so annoyed by the fighting mechanics that I always decided to end. I always hear people praising this game and I totally believe you guys but I just cant get over it. Is there any Mod or just some basic tips that might help me because I really would love to enjoy this game to its fullest because I'm a huge RPG Fan and I usually dont mind playing old games. I know the fighting mechanics in Oblivion are not very good either(having played Dark Messiah about 6 times) but I dont have any problems with them in that regard.
