There is no game icon and when I pause and start it again it still shows up as 100% :|

Are you downloading it from Origin? (inserted your gamecode/cd-key and then started to download?) There should be an icon if you have downloaded it from Origin.

Well you should have an icon in the "my games" tab or whatever it is. If not, i'd suggest to start download it again. shouldn't take that long.

Are you sure Origin is at fault here? Mine takes ~7 seconds to open and ~5 more seconds to have the news loaded
For the VPN unlocking, I'm not sure that will make a difference unless you're only doing it to see single player; I think they said the servers won't come up until about noon EST.

Of course i'm not sure its Origins fault. It's just funny because everything else opens immediately and Origin takes tens of minutes to open. Not to mention it worked fine the first time i installed it and played couple of times. But doesn't matter - i'm at the point when i need to format my PC anyway. Just need couple of hours to set-up everything.
Yeah, i don't see any point touching the multiplayer anyway. I'd have a huge ping if i would play in Asian servers and same with NA.

So using this vpn thing assuming single player works once the actual release comes out I will still be able to play on the NA servers right?
Once you get the game downloaded just use the little BF3 icon thing to start the game instead of going through Origin. I have other titles on Origin and it opens everything up at normal speeds if you do that instead of actually opening Origin specifically. Whoever made that program needs to go take some classes over wherever they went to college, it is pretty sad that the fucker rarely opens on even the first 3 4 5 attempts. lol I have a feeling when enough people tell them there morons they will fix the issue.
Well VPN thing works for me in terms of when it will be unlocked thats good. Glad Dice isn't going to ban for this (or at least thats what it sounded like to me its just not very nice :D).
Just saw that IGN review of the game and they thrash single player like anyone actually thought it would be good. Freaking games all about multiplayer, can't expect them to make amazing stories when its a shooter anyways, FPS with storyline is snooze worthy at best. More I see on the new maps the more the game excites me, just looks so clean, I'll never understand how they shot up that fast after coming out of BC2 which looks terrible. Their rating criteria might have changed to be more strict in the more recent years. That should be taken into account
i really don't understand how recent call of duty franchise games score SO high. Battlefield 3 BETA is beyond comparable to the whole game of modern warfare 2 in my eyes. Having played both, and having the taste of BF3, i seriously think bf3 is the best shooter out there right now

Honestly, Couldn't care less about those factors. If an IGN reviewer can give MW2 a better sound score over BF3, then there is a big problem with IGN reviewers.
