I'm not a fan of fracturing the community, especially when so many awesome people are on Demethos, but seriously... the server is dead. There is no economy, there are not enough people for pqs or any group content, there are very very few good weapons, and not enough scrolls on the server to make a good one for yourself. As it is, you guys will be relying on zhaoxiang008 for all your money for the foreseeable future, which will severely limit your ability to enjoy the game, since only 2-3 people in the guild will be bankrolling everybody FOREVER. Since there is no economy, the money you're getting, thus far, is just being burned and you guys won't be getting any self-sustaining sources of income from playing the game for a very very long time. Also, if you guys are planning on doing a massive guild migration anytime soon, what you could do is a guild liquidation into pure mesos. Then buy like 100 gfas. Then mts that shit over to the new server. Yeah, you guys will lose a crap ton of xp and feel bad for the sunk costs of the 4x, but that's like 1 hour of surveys for all the 2x cards anybody has used so far (or like $6 -> 100m -> 10atk no vh wg -> 10.5k nx via mts). | ||

What do you mean there are no sources of income? Even though you say the server is dead, Zavihs is making a killing from merching. Sources of income outside of merching are the same on all servers. How does a more populated server help with money? The only good point you make is that good gear is rare in Demethos and parties are harder to find. I think these problems can be solved by finding and scrolling weapons ourselves and pqing amongst ourselves. | ||

We should not be taking advantage of a 9-year-old whose Asian parents let her on for an hour after getting an A on her math test. That's what I mean that there are no sources of income. Merching is NOT viable unless you set up a shop, and the overhead of a shop permit makes it inherently difficult, considering the amount of nx you have to spend on a permit can get you 15 mil worth of items through mts instead. Regarding L10F's point that having a single community, even on a crappy server, is better than having a fractured community on a decent server... This view is completely valid and I realize that what has happened here is a shitty nash equilibrium. That being said, I'm trying to increase the payoffs for people to move from the shitty nash equilibrium to the better nash equilibrium by offering to bankroll people who join the other server. Yes, L10F, I will bankroll you too! (up to 50 mil per person for the first week to get you guys started.) If at least 10 people are willing to join me, I am offering to fund a new guild in Galicia (or any of the other servers you guys might want.) | ||
