humn i just started on this Demethos Global Server. My ig name is Minervan and just started a dual blade, i dont got much experience with the game, i think i played some character to level 60 a few years ago. Anyways i would be interested joining the TL guild once i can get it to run stable. ^^

I am a bit confused why i need a proxy if the server is supposed to be global Oo
Anyways i am using this hotshield thingy like suggested but i am disconnecting rather frequently from the game, not sure if its because of the server or the proxy thingy.. :o Also there seems to be some compatiblty issues with windows 7 is there some version or fix i can DL to fix that ?

It is called global because a few years ago it was the only Maplestory version for non koreans. But now there are many different versions like EMS,TMS or JMS so they decided to IP ban every non american.
If you have an account from before the IP ban you can play without a proxy.
What kind of compatibility issues are you talking about? Iam using WIndows 7 as well but there don't seem to be any problems.

When I get that it means they've deactivated my account and I need to reset password by logging onto the website without the proxy on,

I might start Maplestory again with TeamLiquid, but all my friends are against it =( and none of them will play along with me. I never played after Big Bang though, want to see what its like.
