Goblins legacy plays at least 3 sideboard (I personally run with 4), because it really is the best solution against combo.
Depending on the meta, I know she's sometimes even in the main deck.

What are the odds of getting 4 foils (3 commons, 1 rare) from 6 boosters? That happened to me yesterday night when I went to a pure BotG sealed (went 3-1, but because of time constraint and the number of people that was there, I didn't get anything)

Also each card has the same chance of appearing as a foil as any other ie you have an equal chance to get foil Brimaz as you do of that stupid Badger.

Speaking of that badger, a couple of people at the event constantly made fun of that badger at the event I never meet anyone of them though I think.

I've been heavily play-testing a lot of variations on standard UG decks lately with cockatrice. I'm still struggling to finalize what I want to do with the deck so I end up with a bunch of 3-ofs and 2-ofs and it just seems off. Any suggestions on what to drop / replace?

Been doing well the past few weeks with UWR control, 1st place FNM (won a box), split first monday (won an arid mesa), 3rd place last friday (won geist + celestial colonnade). Only thing I changed on the list for BNG is added 2 revoke existence into the board; that card does work. Tempted to play Big Boros tonight though, searing blood is such a great addition to the burn kit. Really wanting to take non-UWR control to SCG LA as well...I dont think I could deal with 10 rounds of full length games.

I'm building Melira Pod. What would be the best mana dork (besides Birds of Paradise) to play instead of Noble Hierarch?

Avacyn's Pilgrim or Elves of Deep Shadow? (I'm assuming you don't want to play Mystic Elf)

I wouldn't mind running Mystic Elf. Also, would Arbor Elf (untap forest) be good because it somewhat fixes your mana?

The fact that Arbor Elf isnt a mana ability is a not insignificant downside unless your producing more from your forests.

Before I give any advice, I hope you are running the full 4x BoPs, because there's a reason most Melira decks have 4 BoPs and only 2 Hierarchs. The only acceptable answers in my view are mana dorks that produce G or W because you need to be hitting stuff on curve and most of your important stuff is in those two colours. That means Avacyn's Pilgrim for W, and Elvish Mystic or Llanowar Elves for G. 1/1 split, or 1W/2G if you're trying to run the 7 mana dorks (assuming you have the stock mana ase, tune as necessary). Arbour Elf is a terrible choice because it relies on you having a Forest in play to jump from 1 to 3 and most Melira decks only have 5 Forests. Not odds I'd be happy with.
Any replacement for Hierarch is going to be inferior and I hope you are aware of that, similar to the "What should I play instead of Tarmogoyf" discussions. You're going to have problems playing some cards on curve, and your mana base will be a lot more vulnerable to LD and the like, so better hope no one is playing Hatebears in your meta.

Yea I'm running 4 Birds and have 3 slots for Hierarch (have Wall of Roots as dork #8). I realize it'll be worse, and if I end up liking the deck, I will get the Hierarchs. This just seems like the best card to cut (and replace) before I completely commit to the deck and format.

I decided to go play magic again last night and Drafted R/G Heroic. Ended up 2-0-1 and made crap back in my packs . I did get to meet someone from this thread though at my LGS, I just didn't catch his screen name. Either way, Kinda glad I ended up playing magic again for once, rather than just sitting at home playing Hearthstone.
