I run Boros as well. I wish I had more to say on the subject, but no one at my FNMs actually have Cawblade, so I don't ever get to play against it . All I see of it are Channel Fireball videos.
Batterskull could definitely make artifact hate maindeckable if you see a lot of birds at FNM, and certainly at the PTs. At the worst you're destroying Tumble Magnet or something. I can't think of many decks right now that aren't running some sort of artifact, so it could be ok even now, though I expect more important artifacts will be in decks once this new set is out.
On that note, what's everyone's favorite new card? I'm looking forward to playing Phyrexian Obliterator, I love MBC, and hope it'll be an archetype, after Cawblade rotates.

I'm liking Gitaxian Probe, mainly because it lets me try to build combo decks with effectively 56 cards =) I also like dismember, since it gives me more out against phyrexian crusader (a few people run infect at my shop).
Most fun card has to be Bludgeon Brawl. I just love that flavour.

lol I have a Boros deck, but I stopped playing it because it's just impossible to win....
Playing valakut but that's not fun either, gah I hate this standard.

I wouldn't maindeck artifact removal if I expected any kind of Valakut, RUG, or aggro. Even in the matchups artifact removal is "good" in, you still lose to planeswalkers and manlands or to the fact that you have a dead card if they didn't go turn 2 mystic into turn 3 sword. Just seems way too narrow against the diverse threats in Standard, and by "diverse threats" I mean "creatures and planeswalkers."
Obviously the answer to the format is to go over the top with Pyromancer Ascension!!!!!
Favorite card in NPH right now is probably Moltensteel Dragon because in reality I'm a little kid who likes to play dragons.

Now this is a statement I can get behind I love that deck. Been tinkering a bit with it already, Tezzeret's Gambit and Volt Charge seem like good additions, but I haven't tested anything yet. The exarch + splinter twin combo might be a cute sideboard trick.

I've considered building Pyromancer Ascension just because it's pretty inexpensive and I have most of the cards already; it doesn't have the greatest matchups but the win%:price ratio is good enough for me :V It's too bad everybody is sideboarding artifact removal that also happens to be enchantment removal, and the major decks can overload on counters too.
BR Vampires is another budget choice but that one costs more and doesn't seem much better, might as well just get my playset of Stoneforges for my current UW deck anyways.

I'm curious, are there such things as MTG:O stream? I'd definitely watch (especially if they explain what they're doing).
|
Lately I've been rolling Green/Black ramp removal. Fetch lands, 4 cobra, 4 Bird. 4 Grave Titan, 3 Primordial Titan, 3 Massacre Worm, Black Sun Zenith, and removal (Consuming Vapor, Go for Throat, skinrender, etc.) Pretty solid against everything except proliferate infect, but sideboard tec edges should help against nexus.

If you have SCG premium, check out Chapin's newest article. It's got a sweet decklist with PA in it that I'm going to steal and play around with. If ya wanna play on MWS or Cockatrice sometime, just shoot a pm my way btw =)

I'll stream some constructed legacy tonight if anyone is interested.

Livestreams aren't too common, but a few sites record videos of drafts and constructed tournaments with commentary. Channel Fireball and Star City are the two most well-known. Channel Fireball is free, and Luis Scott-Vargas's videos are probably the most entertaining out there. Star City's videos are often stuck behind a premium wall.
A much lesser-known site that also provides free draft videos is Draft Magic. I am forced to mention this since I happen to be one of the players that contributes videos to that site.

Also I would watch a Legacy stream.

I'd mostly wanna watch standard constructed but Legacy is cool too!

Yup, I stream pretty regularly. Nothing too special but I get 150-200 viewers, mostly do drafts and explain my choices, former PT player. It's finals week so the streaming is less frequent, but feel free to follow me/watch my vods: http://www.justin.tv/celeritygaming
Also, be prepared for large amounts of raging/profanity/girly pop music.

I've been looking into that "Koth Red" or "Kool-Aid" deck that Tommy Luke played at the Qualifiers. Seems like a sound deck and very fun to play.

I haven't been keeping up. Story-wise, everybody in Mirrodin was either killed or broken, right?

Hey guys;
I'm going to be streaming some Magic online, using Cockatrice (because it's compatible on my Mac). I'd love for anyone to come check it out! Playing T2, B/U Control, and I'll take any challengers. I'm not afraid to lose, and learn in the process.
Check my stream here on TL, or head over to: justin.tv/fubsygamr
