Test your latency. You can download the US client and convert it to EU pretty easily. If you don't get too much, then you really should go to US. EU is just ridiculous. I've only been playing a few weeks, but we never seem to get any events, less regular patches and 0 support. I sent a ticket two weeks ago and it still has yet to be answered. EU didn't even get an event for St. Patrick's day when US did. As an Irishman, that really grinds my gears.

Just started downloading it. Sounds worth checking out. Have downloaded the NA client, and in time hopefully join a TL guild. Registration was incredibly smooth and simple. So a good start.

Took me what felt like 4 to get from 55 to 56. Maybe not that long, but I dunno...

The only thing I ever read about PvP in this game is "gear up or get 1 shot". Makes me feel really shitty about how much time I've put into this grind.

I spent yet another 2 hours to get 33 -> 34.... and got really nothing new in terms of abilities beside a couple of upgrades. And this level took me 3 BAM quests.

Leveling is fast in this game. I almost wish it was slower, since I enjoy it.

Doing all your quests with a group of people makes it way better too.

Yeah, not sure how people are complaining about leveling speeds :S I'm at around lv40 and barely notice any difference between the time it takes to level now and back in early 20s. Compared to WoW and GW2, it's pretty fast. I play with two others and we just focus on story quests, picking up sidequests we pass along the way, then 3-man dungeons when we're high enough and get another 2-3 levels for the first run and another 1-2 for the second, then go back to the story quests.

skip bam quests, im guessing thats whats wasting a majority of your time. If you have to wait for than 20~ minutes to find a group you're taking way too long, since the exp isnt substantial enough. Trust me, there are TONS of quests in the end areas, its pretty much impossible to run out. I skipped full dungeons, many bam quests, couple story quests, and still made it to 60 easily.

For those who are saying it takes a long time to level, i got to 56 to 60 in 2 days, roughly 24 hours of playtime, which is pretty fast for hitting level cap in an mmo. If you are having trouble look up end-game leveling guides, or post back here and i'll try to give some more advice. GL everyone~
