I make this post because, frankly, I am out of RPGs to play during my SC downtime. I don't like MMOs because there is no "end" to the story.
Anyways, my personal vote will be Mount & Blade. I think the expansion (kind of like BW in terms) Warblade is out too. It is very cheap, addictive, and has combat that is only rivaled by Demon's Souls, which, I guess, would be my top nominee if I were to have considered it underrated.

NOX was pretty damn good I'd say.
I like Mount and Blade as well, it's got A LOT of growing potential too, i hope they keep improving it

I'm not sure I'd count this as underrated neither. The game got rave reviews but given that it was on the gamecube, nobody played it.
