As far as I remember, you can get a grimer on cinnabar Island (south of Pallet town).

Other than that, bulbapedia is our friend.

And since a grimer becomes a muk and muk backwards is perverse and we are not such people, I suggest we call it "The Pill", you could show it to Lyra and see if she takes a hint
