and there are plenty more broken cards than welder. if we are talking about one that completely fucked up the metagame, i would say skullclamp. idk if anything since then has had a similar effect since i stopped playing after kamigawa, but that shit just HAD to be played. | ||

Talking about fucking up metagames, necropotence and memory jar were pretty bad for competitive play imo. But yeah, skullclamp was out of this world. The tragic fact is that it was almost like a new black lotus as almost every concievable deck was better with 4 copies in it. | ||
