I'll be happy enough with whoever is not Almunia!
We've also been linked with Lloris, Handanovic
Read today we're also chasing Mexes, and Giovinco interested to join from Juventus
As always, Wenger is chasing all the right players

Julio Sergio (Roma's keeper) saved 4 penalties when Roma beat Levante in the penalty shoot-out after a 0-0 game. That's pretty awesome. ^__^ Anyways, Cassano is back in Gli Azzurri now thanks to Prandelli! Watch out, Italy is about to become great again.

Yeah, this squad is pretty much what Italy should have brought to the World Cup. I'm not a fan of Amauri but I'm looking forward to seeing Italy kick some ass in Euro 2012. In other news, after losing to Panathinaikos and drawing FC Dallas 2-2 Benitez claims Inter achieved all the targets they set. Uh, ok... but last season we drew 2-2 with UCLA so I guess we're improving. ![]()

I also think the arsenal defenders are not used to playing in this system. I think wenger changed their system from last year and is trying to play a more 4-2-3-1 system or double 6's. Basically the two holding midfielders are the key to the midfield while last year, most of that work was on Song by himself when wenger played 4-1-4-1 (argentina also played that way and got destroyed in the middle because machescherano couldn't cover enough ground to stop both ozul and schwensteinger (sorry for the spelling)) Some of the things I would like to see this season is shooting. I would really like it if the players start shooting, I'm pretty tired of seeing them shooting when the're in the box or inside the 6 yard-box. I miss the days when arsenal players shot from further than the 18 yard box and actually curved the ball in or just smashed it in. I'm thinking of the pires, henry days ![]() Although, I did see some great things this preseason from Chamakh, nasri and wilshere. They were creative, strong and most of all, they were calm. Let's hope Van Persie can find his form and the attack will be very good. That guy can do things that other players just arn't able to do technically. Also, since Gallas is gone, I think the team will start bonding better because he was pointing the finger a lot and hurt the team atmosphere. Many players disliked him notably nasri. One of my big concerns is something I mentioned at the beginning of my post. The arsenal central defenders are disorganized and they general get injured during the season and Arsenal do not have enough depth to replace them with good players right now. I hope wenger can get 1 additional CD by the end of the transfer window. Finally, if there are two things I wish for Arsenal, it's being healthy/fit and to just enjoy themselves because they play the most beautiful football out there. Go Arsenal GO

call me crazy, but i think rvp is just as important as fabregas. when he came back against spurs he just lit up the game (WC 2010 was a different story, lots of dutch drama). i should fill out my bracket. i skipped fabregas at the beginning of the year, and if he was your captain he gave like ~200 in the opening few matches. it'd be foolish not to pick him again considering he saved spain's ass in south africa. also, does anyone think xavi is overrated/

I don't much every Barca match and i'm not a fan of Barca but Xavi is easily one of the best midfielders. Some of his touches and passes are just ridiculous. But ofcourse most Arsenal fans believe that they have the best midfield players.

I really hope he can do some magic at Bayern this season. Also: Looks like Özil and Dzeko will stay in the Bundesliga this year.

Subs (from): Turnbull, Bruma, Zhirkov, Carvalho, Benayoun, Kakuta, Drogba, Sturridge Man Utd: Van der Sar, Kuszczak, O'Shea, Neville, Evans, De Laet, Vidic, Smalling, Brown, Fletcher, Scholes, Gibson, Giggs, Park, Valencia, Nani, Cleverley, Rooney, Hernandez, Berbatov, Owen, Macheda. ![]() Looking at Man U a possible line up would be Van der Sar; Neville, Vidic, Evans, O’Shea; Valencia, Fletcher, Scholes, Park, Owen, Rooney. @Lovedrop I think someone posted one earlier in the thread. @quarky is Ozil going to sign a contract extension later this year or they plan on letting him go on a free? They could of probably picked up some decent monies from selling him this year.

City and Tottenham to get the mickey mouse league spots. I think tottenham peaked last season and are unlikely to improve on it. I hope City flop almost as much as I hope United win it >_>.
