however, I am the first to say gg frequently on the winning team as we kill the nexus. This is never meant to be an insult. The game IS OVER and I'm saying 'gg' as a generic 'good game' that we're taught as kids to be good sports. but any time the issue is brought up on LoL forums, it comes out that like 75-80% of the LoL community considers any 'gg' from the winning team first to be extremely bm. | ||

Defensively I GG when I'm not incredibly annoyed by how the game went (Don't know if there's any specific situation, like I've GGed after our Nexus died at 18 mins because of an awful team and have not-GGed after a 55min game where they won because we failed in the final teambattle. Still need to work on always saying GG <_< I never say BG though) | ||

The game is clearly over at that point (if it's not then I don't say gg yet), so I don't feel like there is anything offensive about it. I've never had anyone complain about it either. Half of the time I get some idiot responding with bg, and I feel like I have to explain him that this is bm etc. I really should just ignore those guys... | ||

I've also never said gg in LoL. If I'm winning, then my starcraft instincts tell me not to gg before my opponent. If I'm losing, it's because my allies are feeder baddies, so it's not a gg. | ||
