Fuck moralities this is fighting games, you may think its fucked up for spooky to say that but if theres one thing spooky is, its REAL fucking talk, and he's right. He deserves it, evo is the biggest motherf'ing tournament of the year and deserves the BEST stream, not someone who sugar coats bullshit and feeds it to 10k viewers. I actually get where you're coming from, I'm not new to fighting games. However I think there needs to be some distinctions. Just gonna say this first I didn't watch WCW3 so I'm gonna take your word for it about the issues Level Up had. When you're a top player fighting it out for that prize yeah fuck moralities. If you need to do it, do it. Shit talk the fuck out of the other guy, get in his head. Streaming definitely is not similar to that. Streamers do way more for the community than top players do. Top players bring the hype to the tourny but streamers are the ones who bring it to the masses. Since they play the unique role of getting the footage out there to everyone they shouldn't be antagonizing the other groups out there who are trying to do the same thing in other regions. There's no need for this "my stream's better than yours" dick waving. This is just my point of view though. Different jobs need different attitudes. I do agree with some of your points though, I'm gonna have to take back that I hope Spooky doesn't get to stream evo because yeah his stream is good. There's no way to be 100% reliable though because I've helped out in streaming my local sessions a couple of times and sometimes shit just happens. The stream can just stop working and you don't have the time to investigate on the spot. Sometimes all you gotta do is restart and hope for the best. Spooky does have a very very good stream though and he does deserve it like you said. | ||
