and Charlotte vs Atlanta, Charlotte's performance has a direct relation to how good their opponents are. And they rely on homecourt to an absurd extent.

Oh and go the Bucks! First playoff series since 2005 (even though they're going to be slaughtered in the first round without Bogut). East is pretty much all but settled: Cavs Magic Hawks Celtics Heat Bobcats Bucks Bull or Raps (this is a really hard pick. Chicago is just shit in general, but if Bosh is out for an extended period the Raps -- who are slightly less shit than Chicago -- will go down faster than a $2 hooker). Hawks vs Bobcats and Celts vs Heat will be pretty good first round series! Good luck predicting anything in the West..

His shit got old at the end and the team was never the same after Larry Brown left. Apparently Simmons thinks his attitude is contagious which probably makes sense. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/100407&sportCat=nba He rips into him pretty hard in that article pretty much beginning to end.

Hedo is a bust, Sheed is a bust, Gordon and Villy is a bust, Carter is so-so, Ariza is a bust (but hardly costly), Artest is so-so (but the Lakers match up "better" against Denver). Am I leaving someone out? Prior to this season I felt some teams made some solid moves to get better, but those teams have been pretty underwhelming.
