Star Fox, isn't it? Also, these weren't answered yet I think. Swords & Serpents, NES. Spy versus Spy! Awesome, spent tons of hours playing that on my pal's commodore when I was a kid! Here's a couple amiga classics. ![]() ![]()

![]() This is "The Guardian Legend" for the NES. A great mix of exploring and shooters from the NES era. At one time you are exploring areas as a "person" and then you enter a dungeon and it becomes a shooter. ![]() Desert Commander released in 1989 for the NES. A strategy game much like Advance Wars of today. I recommend The Guardian Legend if you need the ROM I can post it if it is allowed under TL rules.

so i went through the ENTIRE snes game list on wikipedia to try and find that top-down co-op shooter game i was remembering.. i found 2 that sort of look like what i'm talking about but it's hard to tell. either way, i did find some oldschool games i loved and used to play, so here they are: ![]() and its sequel ![]() ![]() and finally, the 2 games that SORT of look like what i've been looking for but i'm not sure.. #1:the chaos engine (which was already posted in this thread) or (much less likely) #2: ![]() but i'm really leaning towards the chaos engine.. i've looked up gameplay vids on youtube, it looks about right.. i'll have to ask my bro he's a bit older so he should remember better

Yup both have been guessed though noone is sure so ill name them: Starfox: Lylat Wars for N64 (the first one was awesome aswell) Battlezone for PC (has a sequel but it wasent as good as the first one, this game is actually still very playable and made in '98, truly a golden year for gaming )
