If Germany plays the half of football they have played against Sweden with better finishing, they will easily score three or more goals against South Korea.

Özil probably starting. Don't know if Löw can keep him on the squad if he doesn't excel this game. If they're out even, maybe Löw will be gone too.

Like i try to explain every time. Ozil is Germany best player (when he is allowed to be) and the other 10 players around him have to allow him to be the sole player who might not tackle as much as someone else. He is the ability to unlock defenses and even chip in with the odd goal for Germany.

Having him with Muller and Reus on wings who won't track back won't be any use to him and will just expose more gaps. The team that starts today looks better but it still need Reus to track back a lot to deal with the Korean counters but if they get the ball and get Ozil on it they should do fine.

I mean you have more knowledge about football for sure, but how on earth is Ozil better than Kroos that was one of the key elements of Real Madrid winning 4 CL titles?

Because Kroos is not as good as a passer as Ozil is, is Kroos a great player of course. Can he change a game, of course. Does he win you games, yes he does, but not as much as Ozil can when he is on form. In the 2014 world cup stats wise Ozil out performed Kroos on changes created per game / assists, touch in opponent half and pass accuracy. He also surprinsgly won more interceptions in an opponents half (aka attacking third) than Kroos as well, all be it i guess Kroos isn't defending from the front per se as Ozil should.

That just for me proves that he should be what the team should be "built" around him being able to "go missing" per se and not look as if he is covering the most ground or doing the more defensive work without the ball.
