There was not much clutches this time tho. They never were under pressure. I never felt like KT had the upper hand in neither the games or the mindset.

Clutch as in being on their a game when it matters. I didn't feel like TY, Stats or Zest really played at 100% power.
Even though i guess you cannot fault Zest too much. Stats really should have won against Cure though :/

Kind of sucks KT lost to JA again but at least the top players are performing pretty well in individual leagues (outside of Stats losing in gsl).

See this is why you have to be like me, realize that the match isn't that important. Then you don't get super sad when KT lose. Only mildly annoyed. Didn't expect it to go 1-4. Now there's no real point in watching the VODs

Now if only we knew when the actual playoffs start.

It's maybe not important for standings or anything, but at some point the KT guys probably lose confidence against JinAir.
When you are playing in front of a foreign audience with quite a lot of guys watching you surely wanna win, KT didn't even play in TB because of this. So it was kinda important :/

That's all well and good, but like Silvana said it must be hard on the players constantly losing to JA. Beating them here would have done them a world of good and given them confidence for the finals.

The finals aren't in all-kill though. In Proleague format KT does way better against Jin Air.

Plus you can get some confidence back with a 4-0, 4-0 against SKT or Afreeca

I really doubt Zest or Stats lost any confidence from this. They're not the type to. But the match was lost the moment Stats lost game 1 anyway.

Because when Stats lost Jin Air basically got homefield advantage. Against any other team, sure they could and arguably would. But not against Jin Air being able to freely choose who they send out when while they already have a lead (2-0 even because Leenock lost).

Just because of how KT's and Jin Air's players interact.

Stats > Rogue, Stats = sOs, Stats < Maru
TY ≥ Rogue, TY < sOs, TY ≤ Maru
Zest < Rogue, Zest ≥ sOs, Zest > Maru

When Stats gets knocked out early against Jin Air, too much hinges on Zest. I think that got kinda exposed today. Since KT always starts with Stats I'm surprised it took them so long to snipe him successfully.

Before the season started people were hoping Losira would be the guy. But him and Leenock aren't doing the job. But the really good Zergs? Probably all unavailable. Maybe try for a Terran (GuMiho)?
