Should easily get out
Everyone needs an Olli in their life to remind them that Zest is doing well
Gumiho should be a win for Zest no doubt. Solar? I have no clue but I'm glad we get to see Zest's PvZ in a bo3.
Now time for my PvP analysis*!!!
Imo Zest should only worry about not mindgaming himself in PvP. A lot of times it seems to me that he can't get control of the games because he is thinking too far ahead or anticipating for something that it's not going to come. Against players like MC or Super, he should be more straightforward, and against someone like Stats maybe he should commit to a hard hitting build and stop second guessing himself.

it seems that MC is not good at multitasking, he just got one punch, and speaking of this one-punch thing, I think zest is second to none.
so zest may get it straight and fierce then one shot to end the game, clean and clear as usual, or he may multitask MC hard and choke him to dead, as usual too.
what I worried about is MC has few games to study, and he is a experienced player and was once a king, he should never be underestimate.
I only saw the ace match and bits and pieces of Zest on frost but he looked really awful today. Haven't seen him play that bad in awhile. I'm sure he'll be good to go for his gsl group on Wednesday though.
When Zest plays that game vs Rogue he looked so clueless, like he didn't know what to do in PvZ. It breaks me because he's supposedly the better player and I know he can do better than that. It was sad and heart-breaking

Maybe. But if it was a bad day he shouldn't have played the ace match ._.
Of course. But KT coaches are rather.. questionable with sending out ace players.
kt's lines up was already predicted by JA especially on ace match.
tbh, I would send stats rather than zest on ace match today, stats has good record against all race atm, I would say stats stand more chance to win than zest especially zest had lost one match already…
but still…zest' pvz is really a big problem for him now, he need to step it up if he still want to win some championships

I think KT sent Zest out in fear of Maru, but that kinda backfired them as JA already predicted it

Yeah, that's exactly why KT sent out Zest. Maru even plays on Frozen Temple tomorrow, they were certain he'd come out. Jin Air's coaches have KT's number, and hard.
Even Stats is probably not totally comfortable with the prospect of playing Maru.

predicting your opponent's line up is just like gambling. No one would like to put their fate on gambling. JA's players are not perfect either , but they don't have obvious flaw at least on SPL wiht the BO1 matchup.
but KT, TY is not stable enough, Zest has a big issue about PVZ, and Stats is still not comfortable matching up with Maru... and the only way to solve these problem is making them perfect. Beside, all of them have the GSL and SSL in their hands, if they don't figured out a way then how can they make it further in these tournaments?

TY's TvT was really great for a while tho. I think that's their best bet. TBF, TY keeps on losing to sOs but he's most likely not coming out on ace matches and for rest of the team he has really good chances on except maru.

I think at the top level of Proleague, there's almost no gambling involved with the overall lineups. Only the ace match is a lot about mindgames.
GSL and SSL aren't BO1. Some of the losses TY and Zest have taken in Proleague, they'd never have taken in a longer series.

their performance on SPL always made me feel unsure, and zest vs rouge was actually BO2 already…if it was in a BO3 format, zest had already lost…
