Zest said he has prepared the SSL qualify for some time, he was nervous but at the end he advanced, so he was happy, and he also talked about the cross final, I don't quite understand there, maybe something like" I will do my best to win" .

Damn he lost game 7 against Maru and looked a little shaky but he played amazing against sOs (coming back from that oracle vs phoenix opening was pretty sick). Oh well at least he plays tomorrow in the cross finals.
yeah his play against sOs was very good. But the game against Maru looked exactly as I thought... Zest falling apart because of multitasking and bad trades.
I can't be mad at Maru or Jin Air tho, they deserved the win.

Idk, but mistakes happen, so we shouldn't be mad at anyone. It was just really bad luck that it happened in the finals.
What it really pissed me off is that there's always a bunch of idiots saying that it was done on purpose by KT because Losira's drone got scouted, or god knows what other stupid conspiracy theories. Why is our team so disliked? We always get a lot of flak in general, and even from the casters.
I'm just annoyed that it's the 6th consecutive loss to Jin Air in all-kill. And you can't even help but blame the coaches anymore. I mean, Losira? Really? Come on.
That said, I'm really looking forward to the Cross Finals.

Who do you think they should have sent out instead? I was kind of thinking Zest because if Zest takes out sOs on King sejong like he should then they have three chances to beat Maru.

I can't blame the coaches for that because who knows what would happen if the game progressed normally? Maybe Losira would get a shaky start because the drone got scouted but could pull of a win anyways... I'm inclined to think they have a backup plan on the build in case the strat is scouted early..

I think TY on sejong to do some tank shenanigans and Losira in lerilak would have been better

Zest or TY. Sejong is a better map for TvP than Lerilak Crest. And if it had to be a Zerg, then it should have been Leenock.

It did progress somewhat normally though. By the time Losira got booted initially, sOs was already blocking the natural and he knew the drone was out there. They both had about 50 minutes to think about what they would do and that game is what ended up happening. Losira on Sejong was a terrible choice and I'm pretty sure in his current form he would have been a bad choice on the other maps, too.
At least on Lerilak he could have done a ravager all-in or something though. This way they just wasted a shot to get rid of sOs earlier, since Maru was still the bigger threat.
Besides, minus the technical difficulties, this happens every time we play all-kill vs Jin Air. We allow one of their players to build momentum and wait too long to send out the best we have to break it. Or we pick the wrong person. It's almost always Maru, but when it isn't, sOs is there. This never happens when Jin Air plays vs SKT for example.

I thought so, too. Leenock would have been a much better choice than Losira, he's much more solid in SPL than Losira. We are in much better form than last season, we should have won, but yet we still lost. This series was as good as ours... I'm just, really upset right now
Ya you would think after losing to Jin Air so much in all kill that KT would realize that maybe sending out Zest earlier to stop momentum isn't such a bad thing. You don't always need to save him for last. It's unbelievable how dumb KT coaches are.
Just look at KT vs Jin Air in all-kill historically and compare to how SKT has handled them. Only a single time have they allowed a JAGW player to spiral out of control in all-kill and that was TRUE, which was nearly unpredictable.
We just let one of the same 2 players do whatever they want every time, even though we should know better. I wish we could handle Jin Air like that. One of the 2 things I envy SKT for.
The other being their Zerg lineup. Losira and Leenock just ain't no Action & hitmaN.
