It's not like he played bad though. I thought he played pretty great especially compared to when he played Patience in the group stage. He was very close to winning a couple of those games.

Zest would have never had any trouble if PvP was still colossi wars. That played to his strengths. Disruptor PvP doesn't really. Remember the very first game he played in Proleague this year? From that incident on he didn't play any real disruptor PvP for over half a year.

In sc2 there are a lot of the things that can lose you a game in a matter of seconds but disruptor wars magnify that feeling by like 10. It might be fun to watch but it is a nightmare to play. I know a lot of non protoss players hated PvP in hots but I thought it was a beautiful matchup with the way the builds interacted and how usually the smarter player won.

I'm not upset Zest didnt win either. Losing by 1 map in PvP isn't a big deal. Zests in good form and if he's enjoying himself, so much the better!

Look how happy Patience was, I hope he continues as well Zest still owns!

Actually, their historical score is 13-12 with Patience winning the last 3 out of the four LotV series (3-4, 2-3, 3-2, 1-3). But regardless, I'm just happy for a Protoss win after a decent drought of Protoss winners (aside from KeSPA Cup). Plus, it's nice to see Zest in a somewhat better form than we've seen him prior to November.

Haha I'm kinda glad he knows about this thread now. I'm also glad Zest and the other KT players enjoyed themselves ^^
