I don't know about you but I have very bad memories about Zest vs TRUE...

I'm more worried about recent Zest than 2014 Zest.

Seeing how much Zest sucks against teamkill, I would be already surprised if Zest win against Jjakji

Didn't some EU pros skip this to favor other minor tournaments because of the same reason? Or I'm mistaking this for something else?
Alibaba/WESG is the giant Chinese company backed one that should be legit.
WCA is the one that had some rumours of late/non-payment from last year
Yeah you're mistaking it for WCA where the EU grand finals got delayed because both players prioritised playing Shoutcraft Kings. IIRC Nerchio pretty much said he doesn't expect WCA to pay anyway.
Also the qualifier is one of the last chances this year to watch some of these guys play.

I blame this for the KT and especially Zest slump.
Yeah it was still a cool experience despite KT looking embarrassed as ever.
But I knew something was up. The pessimist in me told me this was going to happen after I realized how much SKT sucked in the last round. Gosh I hate to be right sometimes.

Yup SKT bombing so hard really made me doubt they'd be willing to sponsor it again. It's not too surprising sadly. After the last few years of PL struggling to get sponsors anyway, then with so many players looking like they hadn't been practicing(Especially in KeSPA cup), not to mention the depressing interviews of all the players in KeSPA cup.
