Oh wow, yet again. Still a great achievement to get so far, but in his case it just feels bitter. The money is a major consolation this time though. I'm looking forward to finally posting here one day about a victory.

He improved his ZvT a lot, that is a good sign for the future. But with the big patch coming up who knows how will Blizzard screw it up again. That being said at this point he cant make me stop cheering for him.

Well, this loss certainly hurts him quite a bit given this is his biggest loss so far and his 7th overall in big tournaments. But this has been a great year for soO if not his best. $140K is a big payday and almost $200K earning this year in total. He should be proud of his performance this year.

A lot of fans really root for him everytime he is in the final. If he keeps making to final, the odd will finally catch up to him and he will win. Hopefully, it will be another great year for soO next year.

I hope he can bounce back from this loss, in game 6 it looked like he was having a stroke at some point, maybe he put too much pressure on himself to make this the one tournament that redeems his past failures as he said in his article?
Anyways there's another year ahead and his overall performance looked very strong, so if he doesn't lose motivation he can still make it happen!

I'm sure soO is touched by all outpouring concerns but I don't think soO is gonna quit or retire if that is you guys worry about. This loss stinks as always but this is not his first loss. As history shows, soO will continue to make to more finals. If he was gonna give up due to big losses, he might have done long ago already.

I don't see it mentioned many times. But soo definitely overachieved this blizzcon. He was going to be an underdog no matter who he would face in the finals. In all parallel universes, Soo would have a much more difficult road to the finals, which I don't think he would make given current form (defeating Neeb with korean level aggressiveness is nothing to brag about. See how neeb lost to Zest last year after dominating PVP late games).

OTOH, soo might take it extremely hard precisely because of the golden opportunity. He might recognize this chance is going to be once in a life time (ridiculously easy blizzcon road to finals with one zvz away from the trophy). Soosyphus or a happy overachiever? I think both, and I think soo should embrace both as well (the denial of either one is illogical and will tear him apart).
