I know it's hard to set up some rules to restrict passive plays for online qualifiers, but sOs' attitude towards online qualifiers always remind me his light speed GG vs. Patience.
You either try hard or reject invitation, just don't be too lazy and realistic, this is the thing I don't like him.

Nothing special, just complaining about his laziness and passive attitude against online qualifiers.

I actually have no idea what is the deal with JAGW players these days. They don't play online cups in general. Very rarely. I think most of the time Rogue and Creator play online cups for a bit. sOs never did I don't think. Maybe it is how the team house works. Or sOs is too rich to care about online cups. Or still too much influence from KeSPA era I guess.

I think this is sOs' personal attitude issue, he is not a big fan of online cups or qualifiers far before Proleague is over.
You can see his offline ratio is much higher than anyone right now. You can also see how terrible his online PVP win rate is (since it's "boring" as himself said) and compare it with his offline PvP win rate. This gap is certainly not due to his skill but attitude and passion.
What he always try to do is to gain maximum benefits while spend minimum effort to reach it, but unfortunately this method won't work well in LotV era.

Sound like a practical guy. No wonder he cheesed herO out to win that 100K. I guess it worked for him in the past but these days need a bit more effort than that. He is still a fun player to watch when he shows up.

It is so frustrating as a fan when you know he can be so so so good but see that he doesn't put in the effort to qualify online for these offline tournaments with a substantial amount of wcs points.

Work smarter not harder, and you're trivializing his thumping of herO for that 100K is asinine.

That's my point, his form is not good right now, I can even believe 1-2 Bunny is his true skill level, but 0-2 Hurricane is definitely not and reminds me that 0-3 passive online match with Patience.

I have to agree with you on that one.. that or his current form is really bad for some reason... or both

Well, sOs has a great history of huge runs at the end of the year. Two Blizzcons show that much, and last year he got to the finals of GSL Season 2.

So there's still (some) hope for him, at least.

All the answers will be revealed on July 22nd.
I hope he won't let us down, but he is sOs, so...

Man, finally watched sOs at SSL Challenger today... LOL, I just never know what is coming when sOs plays. His builds are just jaw-dropping. Only sOs can come up with those builds. That series vs Bunny should be in SC2HL because it is one of a kind.

I really wish sOs keeps playing SC2. I don't care if he ever wins anything ever again. His style alone is money-worthy...

The builds he came up with definately raised a grin but I'm afraid these are signs of sOs not caring about the tournament at all or having no form at all, neither of which are any good.

Yeah i mean cool builds and all but at a certain point it is starting to seem like he is playing like Has.
