I think all results count and there are quite a few people with good results overall. But yeah another starleague title for inno should make it clear. Personally, I treat Starleague trophies as the gold standard and weekend tournaments as tiebreakers, but obviously other people weight each differently. Still, if Inno wins another Starleague he will have won more than anyone else and that's a very compelling argument for GOAT, at least to me. | ||

Inno on the other hand is steadily making his way up the charts. Yes, he may be #3, just under Life and Mvp. But that's the GOAT list right now. GOAT: 1. Mvp (Bonjwa) 2. Life (Forever behind Mvp. Not to mention the tarnished legacy he left behind.) 3. Innovation (Still currently playing and wrecking fools. One day could be the greatest.) | ||

The ONLY thing that speaks in Mvps favor is that he has one more GSL title but how much does that really count when you just have to be good at 1 matchup to win a GSL. | ||

I judge in descending order on the criteria of: Tournament Results (Slight edge to Life, even though Mvp has more starleague finalist appearances and wins) Consistency (Mvp wins) Longevity of Relevance (Life wins big) Innovation (Tough one, but I give Life the edge) Peak Performances (Life wins for his second peak) while also taking into account: balance, external factors (such as Mvp's wrists), and difficulty of each run with respect to the era (not taking into account general level of play of each era). Prior to 2015, I'd of went with Mvp. However, Life's second peak really was miraculous. The fact that he was so dominant in every matchup without being assisted by a Zerg-favored meta is pretty crazy. | ||
