Day 1, she took one game off MoolSo (전제민) before losing 1-2. Today, she defeated 아이린 2-1 before falling to Iris 0-2 in the round of 16. The second game between Scarlett and Iris went on for 25 minutes with all bases taken. It was broadcast on the afreeca ASL channel. VOD: http://vod.afreecatv.com/PLAYER/STATION/60718767 Game starts 50:40. I believe there is one more day of qualifiers tomorrow. Regardless of the outcome, I will be amazed by how Scarlett can learn brood war from scratch and be able to play it competitively in just 2 months. | ||

To quote Kwark, upon seeing Scarlett play Cadenzie Watching Scarlett play felt like there wasn't a ceiling on how good she could be with practice. It was kinda sad. I watched her and thought "I can probably beat her today, maybe tomorrow, and then never again, after a decade of playing." | ||

Breaks a streak of 5 times in a row making GSL (and 10 of the last 11) for Scarlett. No more triple NA in the Ro24, and it was back-to-back Ro16 group selections as well for our Zerg hero. Hoping for some strong runs in the ESL NA tourneys and ladder. | ||

The prize pool surpasses $1200 as we speak, and Tasteless even got the GSL voice actor to do player introductions.
