Any other composition she couldve made at that point wouldve gotten rolled by the mech anyway. Muta bane has a bigger upset potential if executed correctly, so she rolled with that.
hydra comps just get slaughtered by mech at that supply level, and she took too much economic damage to field a sophisticated viper/infestor/brood lord army

There was no reason to engage into that. She could just have set back, expand more and speed tech to BL asap.
Tank / Thor mech is superslow and would have taken ages to get across. And even when, she could have just runby and go full basetrade style
But ofc she doesn't have the vision we did observing the game, so probably a hard call to make

making another base and changing the tech takes a bit longer than a mech army to go across the map, also he also expand and get more upgrades as he attacks. she also invested a lot into that combosition. changing her units would have mean wasting resources immediatly, she would have been too much behind. i believe engaging into that army was her last chance and hoped for mistakes on his side.
it is still kinda weird for me that sometimes people here doubt her judgement. sure she makes mistakes but overall she knows the game better than all of us combined (if serral isnt also a member of the fan club that is^^)
for me the bigger mistake of her was engaging at the planetary fortress, after she won a battle in the middle of kings cove. i dont know what happened there

I have a lot more time to spare + Show Spoiler +since my grandpa died and all the family and visitors went back home
Any suggestions for what I should watch/do? (It doesn't necessarily need to be a Scarlett game, or even StarCraft, of course I'm going to watch the latest GSL stuff asap. Idk if I'll have time to start playing again, recommendations for games to watch and "study" would be nice regardless.)

It isn't any more than what I had been doing until I started being a full-time caregiver for my grandpa.
The only issue is that I wasn't able to bring my PC with me back home so I'll have to do it on my phone, oh and I have to move out of this place which somehow I completely forgot about until this afternoon. xD

i mean tbh the start of going to blizzcon was wcs winter and she got the 2nd place of NA^^ so that was not a bad start. in the list of players in wcs spring, she is listed, but cant find her anywhere in any bracket, maybe thats a mistake?
maybe it would be hard for her to play there and be on the chinese tournament? i mean thats maybe just 1 or 2 games per week. would be sad if that would be the only reason why she stays in korea, because of that and the better connection. we will see.
edit: nope she isnt on the list anymore, guess no wcs with scarlett this time. now i am less exciting about it sadly
