Or make pickle brine buttermilk fried chicken if you can wait 'til tonight/tomorrow. Short and sweet pickle brine fried chicken recipe: + Show Spoiler + 1.5-2 cups pickle juice, or the leftovers from a jar of pickles, whatever add a pinch of black pepper, pinch of cayenne, if you wanna be fancy a dash of extra white wine vinegar or a Riesling cover your chicken with it and refrigerate 2-4 hours or overnight dip the chicken in thick buttermilk or soak for a couple hours dredge it in flour (I like pastry or bread flour) with a little bit of salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder, paprika, all that stuff fry it up: 300-350°F canola oil, idk what that is in °C, for like 15-20 minutes for small pieces or 30 for very large pieces cook a bunch of sweet corn to go with it + Show Spoiler + get way more corn than you think you need because you never f***ing have enough + Show Spoiler + an IPA, dry-hopped pale ale, brown ale, ESB, Belgian saison or gueuze, they're great with fried chicken get one or if you're underage, too broke, or can't drink beer, then I'm sorry but iced lemonade is also good too | ||
