hehe you? I used to smoke a lot but not anymore. They both touch on some truths which is cool but there is A LOT more to the puzzle. In my opinion nerpderp gets the warmest. Seriously tho yall she is exponentially improving. what is with these perfect world expectations? You realize some of the people she is playing against have 5-6 years of both mechanical momentum and game sense. Can I ask an ego free question without sounding like an elitist and get some honest answers? How many of you have competed in something at the highest level (top 1 percent)? If so what, what age, and how long? | ||

If so what, what age, and how long? Ego free answer. I've never been close to good enough at anything to even consider making a run at being Top 1%. I wouldn't say exponentially, at least not very recently, but sure she's been improving and some of us (me particularly) have been too hard. It's only because we believe in her, if that makes sense. But we don't know the full picture to the puzzle so all we can do is speculate. | ||

I haven't, and I'm sure very few of us on here have (or else we'd have our own fan clubs!). But I think we've collectively watched enough Scarlett games (and Starcraft games in general) throughout the years to have a somewhat informed opinion on her play. Lots of coaches in other professional sports have never been elite athletes themselves. I don't think it's a requirement as long as you have knowledge of the game. I also don't think I have a perfect world expectation -- I certainly don't expect her to win everything. But she definitely has not been competing anywhere close to the level that she's capable of, so it's natural that we would be rooting for her to do better. | ||
