I most humbly say you must always, always follow your heart! I know the longer you wait to go back to school the harder it is, speaking from experience! If you're ready for a change & are losing interest in SC please do what you feel you need to! All your true fans, including me, will actually just want whats best for you & for you to be happy & successful in life. Everyone knows you are strong & brave & you've already proven it in everything you do! I will say this: If there's even the smallest spark of interest or love left for SC2, don't quit completely, save a little part of your life for it, you can always play as much or as little as you like!! You have a natural talent for strategy/tactics/logistics that is extremely rare! The first time I saw you I recognized a brilliance & natural skill in your handling of the game that is readily apparent almost immediately. The talent you have cannot be learned, you are born with it! I didn't call you Scarlett the Great for nothing!! I've been a fan for about two years & please know that you've given me great happiness & great joy in watching and cheering for you! You brought me back to an interest in SC that I haven't had since BW, so thank you! You have also helped me & I'm sure many others get through difficult times & cope with ongoing problems because you truly are an inspiration in so many ways, and in more ways than you even realize! I wish you health, happiness, success & love in your life no matter what you decide to do!! I will always be a fan, and always be there to support you, should you need it, in anything you do! Much love to you, I know this can't be easy but you have support & acceptance in this as in everything else!! THANK YOU Sasha for just being you!!! <333 FL~ Very well said.

if this is a results thing from past years vs this year i don't think it should get you down, for a zerg expansion i would say that zerg has had it kinda rough overall not weak but not strong ether and your results beats any foreigner easily imo. add in terran being your bread and butter the last 4 / 6 months has been really rough on you and your play style (my mind goes back to your clash of games with polt mid 2014 before and after terran changes) that being said i think you played well in the qualifiers i think u where 1 dead proxy pylon from winning that last game (z.e.r.g.l.i.n.g.s s.o c.l.o.s.e) but who can say that thay have not been protoss'd =D however if its a health (wrists) thing maybe 1 last wcs and a break to heal for LoTV will make all the differance if its a passion thing then 1 last wcs before a break will heal both that and your wrists and remember its a protoss expansion if its as bad for them as it was for zerg you will love the toss tears oh think of the trolling ![]() if your going to school then ANY participation in SC2 would be WELL AND TRULY welcome ofc (maybe more streaming =D) READ THIS IF NOTHING ELSE i / we all would be GUTTED to see you gone from the scene as your games / trolling personality (in a nice none youtube kinda way ![]() anyone can join a scene and poorly BM to make a name for themself i just find your way to be funny as hell (special mention to poor dongraegu being protoss'd and all) you would be a loss to the starcraft scene in ANY SHAPE let alone the one atm with foreigners dropping left and right i could add sssooo much more to this but i think u get my point lol any which way you go thanks for the games and laughs and good luck in SC2 or otherwise much love from scotland p.s ppllzz make your streaming vods on twitch public =D

The Foreign community will lose a great talent when (if) you decide to retire, but it isn't up to us to decide your fate. This fan club will support you in whatever your decision is and if you decide to return for LotV many of us will still be hear keeping the Hive ready for your return.

![]() you are doing the right thing asking yourself what do you want to do with your future, at this point in your life. as a progamer you have achieved extremely strong results and global recognition, in a relatively short timeframe; the years spent doing this have brought you tremendous satisfaction, and basically you learned what it means to give all it takes to fight for something, to believe in yourself and build self-confidence, you travelled a lot and learned about other cultures, overall you had experiences that a lot of people take a lifetime to achieve; and you did all this with something you love to do. The protoss vs DRG moment is very significant because it showed you are willing to take huge risks in tough moments, when others would play it safe, so to speak; although the risks you take are based on a calculated plan; the fact that you could identify such an opportunity and apply it with complete success, despite the stress of the moment, to turn the result around in your favor, stump your opponent and eventually win it all, shows an important characteristic of yours - you were NOT born to follow, but to lead. Moreover, your trademark unique playstyle showed jawdropping recoveries in tough moments when you were severely behind -- when the vast majority would fail due to the moment's pressure, you saw opportunities and ended up winning with those sick comebacks. All these are characteristics of a leader; you've opened a lot of doors for yourself, with progaming; you are not the kind that will struggle with some common job - at only 21 you've got the president of Blizzard following you on twitter. As much as this decision will leave fans wanting for more, its important for your career that you benefit from this momentum and continue to experiment with cool stuff, to identify what you want to do later. your progaming experiment got you worldwide recognition - sky is the limit for you Sasha. I have some recommendations at this point, which i think you will enjoy, and the fans too. a win-win situation. You do not have to keep playing a game that doesnt bring you satisfaction anymore. you also most probably should not; you're a lot more intelligent than that. It was very polite and sweet of you to play this qualifier just for the fans - its important to remain in contact with them as they have helped you in the past, and the fanclub should stay active to support you in whatever comes after progaming. But its time, as you yourself have identified, to move on to the next level; stay in esports definitely, because you know you love it. My suggestions are: 1- start with a well deserved vacation somewhere sunny, or if you stay at home dont open sc2 for like two weeks. just relax for a while. 2- after that, contact some people to see what opportunities you can get , reach out - you can contact blizz folks for some career suggestions after which you can adapt your university path clearly for that direction, or you can contact progaming teams and see what leading positions are there for you, maybe coaching is something you would find rewarding; or go on a path that will soon let you lead your own teamhouse like TB, or talk to day9 who is extremely knowledgeable about succeeding in esports, for general advice and hints on what should the next step be; thats what you should aim for - to get a rewarding feeling out of something new, while using the influence and building on the momentum you achieved after the hard work you did so far. keep the hard working, but switch to a diff kind of work. 3- start vlogging. seriously. anything from smth happening on a particular day, to your opinion on some new game or some patch changes, lotv / heroes of the storm / dota announcements, answer fan mail / questions, anything. this is the ideal way that you can keep in contact with your fans. they keep getting the much needed Scarlett dose, and you get to have lots of fun while keeping contact with esports. people WANT to see you; moreover, your opinion is important and valuable to the esports community since you are highly experienced, unlike others who have no idea what they're talking about. it would be my pleasure to bring my contribution and gift you whatever gadgets, cameras and such that your heart desires if you decide to start this. it would be weird vlogging in the first couple of tries, but then it will become natural, enjoyable and you'll also double the number of your twitter followers in a few months :p Starcraft was a way for you to express yourself, and you succeeded tremendously at that; you'd have the same success by expressing yourself in different ways; just experiment and see what you find enjoyable. @ fans from Canada, it would be nice if you guys can help Scarlett with a list of universities there and opportunities that she can pursue relating to game development ( which she pondered at some point ) as a way of saying thanks for her playing in the qualifiers for you. there is no reason that this fanclub should not continue to stay equally active, here' s to new beginnings Sasha! cheers ![]() ------ or, obviously screw the above advice and just take a break until lotv ![]() whatever you choose Sasha, we got your back ![]()

I don't care if it is top koreans you compete against or foreigners. I will always root for you, I think you are a very gifted person, not only in regards to SC, and no amount of losing can change that.
