I see what you are saying, but personally I actually find it refreshing because it reflects me and (from other responses) some of the community. If you watch sports interviews they're always the generic responses. I don't need all my players to be the same and give the same responses. I really like that Stephano always has interesting interviews, and if Scarlett is shy, then that's fine with me too.
Being in the crowd, I can tell you that we did not cheer her any less just because she didn't have much to say. Running up and down the red carpet with the Canada flag wrapped around her said it all!

As long as she is herself and not uselessly bashing people, it's all fine. She might get used to it actually quite fast though, I wouldn't expect her to be shy like that for all her career.

I remember Naniwa getting interviewed would always super shyly say something like "yeah I dont think anyone can stop me here" or whatever. Scarlett seems to be the same - she'll go around saying how easy something was/will be and /dancing all over the place like its her job (I guess it kinda is ) and then be a completely different person outside the game.
I will be entirely satisfied if she goes on to become as successful as Naniwa :D

Can we pleaaaaase not draw that comparison, I like Naniwa when he just plays the game, but other than that. Making her sound like he is just goes a bridge too far imo.

Honestly I think the same. She's closer to a Desrow with swagger than Naniwa.

Personally I see a big similarity but I dont mind if I'm the only one who thinks that ^^

I dont know about Naniwa but she reminds me alot more about Stephano in his early day. Abit cocky but got alot of confidence and it shows in her play aswell. She got that killer instinct when she play or X-factor. Its hard to define she just got it:D. All the interview stuff will be better over time when she get more experience dealing with it

She reminds me a lot of scarlett

I foresee a holy trinity between scarlett, stephano and nerchio, dunno why

Meh Stephano is leaving Starcraft 2 in a year probably so that wouldn't last long. In fact the release of HOTS will probably be a perfect time for him to leave if he is serious about med school which I believe he is.

I think Scarlett is just an introvert. Who says introverted people can't have egos and a bit of arrogance? In addition, she is probably able to more easily be herself in-game vs. in front of a camera, large crowd etc. I think the same may be said of Naniwa. Both lovely people and excellent sc2 players though

Her shyness is her charm. Also, when naturally shy people "try too hard", it never goes well. Let Scarlett b Scarlett.
Also, a request - I know there is a persistent fan channel now which is great, but can you chat denizens be sure to post anything really important back here? I can't be in chat but I don't want to miss anything vital/time-critical.
Lastly, there was a rumour that Scarlett might be on Live On 3 which starts in 20 minutes or so. Is this confirmed does anybody know?

Like most pros/players that are in school he'll probably still play part-time and attend local events and the occasional major event if it's close enough or during a break. I don't see Stephano quiting the game completely. He's having too much fun right now and making too much money.

I think often times introverts have the biggest egos. I'm one of them.

She won't be.

Actually I think he needs to figure out if he wants to continue his sc2 career or go into medical/nursing school. It's very difficult, if not impossible to play at a professional level while attending med school (not sure about nursing) full-time. For one, you won't have any time off to attend events etc. I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually decides to quit in pursuit of further education (everyone gets older and career decisions change), but I also wouldn't be surprised if he continues his sc2 career, given his massive success.
And I agree that introverts can have some of the biggest egos. It's a bit annoying when people assume shyness = lack of confidence = weaksauce. Not true

I don't know what it's like in France, but in the United States it is very, very common for people to take a year or two off before starting medical school. Either to work, travel, study/take the MCATs, etc.
