Played as well as he could but his Ling/Bane/Muta looks rusty taking engagements off creep and his openers countered by Bunny. Not a bad result but I think HyuN should have taken it more convincingly.

Loses in the finals of the Taiwan Open to Sen 3-4. He had some good plays but HyuN made some bad engagements and never seemed to take control or get into Sen's head. That's the second finals he lost to a foreigner which might be discouraging. Reaching the finals twice is no joke but I do wish HyuN did better in Bo7 finals.

Ro16 group of Pigbaby, TaeJa and Jaedong is pretty terrifying but I think HyuN can beat any of them in a Bo3 even Pigbaby.

Gets his revenge on Pigbaby and defeats TaeJa in a hard-fought series to reach the Ro8! Will be facing HuK in the next round which shouldn't be too much of a problem provided he doesn't fall to his bag of tricks and Gateway all-ins.

He said in his interview he's not going to take this match lightly, I hope he wasn't just saying that and actually means it. HuK isn't quite on par with HyuN's skill level but if not prepared he can absolutely catch HyuN off guard with some wonky timings and all ins. I hope HyuN does his research on HuK and scouts often, if he does that it should be clean and easy.

Ends up finishing Ro4 in WCS AM again which is a formidable result but Heart's style countered HyuN's very well. HyuN has to bring his A-Game in BlizzCon against the best of the best, his first opponent being INoVation. HyuN says he will practice hard in Korea for two weeks in preparation so he knows this is an important tournament.

Late on this but HyuN is quite a ZvZ maestro in Korea beating Dark 3-0 echoing his LosirA victory last season. All that practice in the CJ and Axiom teamhouses are paying off.
