If Jaedong leaves EG after his year contract I think I'm gonna cry... I think it's highly unlikely that JD wants to leave, because EG has been very accommodating for his trips to international tournaments, which are mainly responsible for his high ranking in WCS points. If he goes back to a KeSPA team, then he will be stuck in Korea like poor Flash is.

If he goes back to a KeSPA team, then he will be stuck in Korea like poor Flash is. kespa has promised flash trips to foreign tournaments in the near future so we'll see if that's true. tbh i think there's a HIGH chance he'll return to kespa. Flash, Jaedong, Bisu, Jangbi etc were kespa's superstar players, do you really think they're going to give them away to a foreign team without any return? Most sc2 spectators never followed kespa, osls, msls, proleague, but they know who flash and jaedong are just because they're often talked about. My speculation is that kespa allowed Jaedong (one of their superstars) to go to a foreign team to give westerners exposure to the kespa organization and, hence, proleague, OSL, etc and expand their audience. This is the reason why EGTL was in proleague and not an esf team. Once foreigners are aware of proleague and osl, jd should return to kespa (where he belongs imo). this is all theory and just my opinion and there's a high chance im wrong so dont take it too literally lol

Are you implying that the practice and results he has gotten on EG is bad compared to the hypothetical practice he would've gotten on Jin Air, who arguebly has the weakest players to practice with. Compared to the EGTL house who has been churning out results in individual leagues like no other team.

You got legit points too. If your assumptions of KeSPA of promising more international trips are true, then I can see JD moving back to KeSPA. But I think that is somewhat unlikely because I haven't seen Flash or any other KeSPA star players travel as much lately. But then, again, maybe those players chose to stay in Korea and continue to practice intensively. But no matter where he goes, I will always have my Dongers ready for him (sorry for the constant abuse of that word!)

A tournament where JD plays more then 10 games under pressure and with a crowd is better practice then 1 week grinding games imo He might loose tomorrow but he clearly has a style in ZvP now, he is improving. I don't know if they replaced the coach but I hope they get someone with experience because EG and TL Korean players are winning games
