Somehow I don't think randomly streaming at 5am after a sleepless night cuts into his practice more than the fact that he didn't sleep at all.

IIRC it was one of the main reasons they buffed the Phx because those Muta base trades were so strong.

anyone can appreciate the dong going mutas in any game

Good ol Jaedong, giving me hope with the Mutalisk situation for the future. Santa gave us a great present for Christmas!

A list of people who *aren't* fans of the Tyrant would probably be shorter. Sign me up, pretty please.

Jaedong's up and down group, 3 Protoss and no Zerg is bad, but he got good maps, except against Flash:
(T)YoDa - Whirlwind (P)YongHwa - Abyssal City (P)MC - Daybreak (Z)Jaedong (P)Vampire - Daybreak (T)Flash - Cloud Kingdom

I had my doubt that JD would do well in sc2 after watching his initial few games, but his performance had been quite impressive. I just wish zerg could have a different way to make better use of his apm and multi tasking

when are the up and downs?

Begins January 6th, Jaedong's group is on the first day.

Control looked a bit rough, but good game in SK-Proleague

He had a few mistakes, but man he was defending for several minutes straight against speed lings and banes when he didn't have speed himself, and he lost a single drone. Looked pretty solid to me, but ofc it wasn't perfect.

After he got into an amazing position because of that, he let a baneling or 2 detonate on a lot of lings, but at that point it wasn't a big deal.

Just for the record, you don't play ZvZ without mistakes. You're going to lose 10 lings to a baneling and drones as well. But he defended a very difficult attack with amazing awareness and decision making. Very impressive.

Very impressive. might be misunderstanding but i do feel like it was a poor all-in, it hit after JD got his banelings up and his natural to defend it i feel if he hadnt bothered getting speed would have been a much better push
still though JD played the ling/bane war beautifully and split his drones very well when the 2 banelings got to the mineral line
