The ignorant are going to have their say whether we do or not, so see can either educate them or let them remain ignorant. Yes, she is good at Starcraft 2, and because of that, some bigots are going to become not bigots, and others will remain bigots, but will hopefully be banned from posting. All of those things are good.

Simply - "Transgender" means you only identify as the opposite gender that you were assigned at birth, and "Transsexuals" have taken steps to physically/aesthetically change their sex from what they had at birth. Given the facts that Scarlett has freely offered in the OP, she has already answered his question, so again, it is not "incredibly rude" in this case.
She has not disclosed her op-status, and inquiring about it IS rude. And people are going to do it anyway, because they are willfully ignorant of the topic.

Ignorance does not = Bigot.
Ignorance literally means someone doesn't know something.
The OP from Scarlett mentions the being transgendered literally means she was born with a female brain. It was my undersatanding, and clearly the understanding of other people that this is not technically a true statement.
I was wondering if there was actual science backing it up, after looking it up a bit after it seems there isn't. From what I'm reading, it seems that some of the wiring of the brain is different, but that its not as simple as just being a 'female brain' it seems that MtF people generally do have mostly 'male' brains, but that they differ in areas that would determine perception of gender.
It doesn't mean someone is biased against it, or doesn't accept it or is any less of a fan or whatever. I think the best way to really accept things is to understand them, in reality, not just using placations or PC stuff to sugar coat them.
