...I dont really believe all this though. It doesn't make sense. Life got a LOT of ca$h from eSports and he doesn't need to match-fix. Greed is a bitch.

Just like in real life, people aren't what they seem on the surface. Very appropriate name imo.
He has my respect for selling out and looking out for himself though, because in life that's all that matters.

i watched this kid from before he ever played a televised match. back when the only three people on this forum who would cheer for him were asha, cosmicspiral, and myself. back when he was scrounging for small cash in korean weeklies, losing hard his first few times in the booth. requalifying for code a, allkilling liquid, the end of zenex.... the royal road, mlg, iron squid, blizzcon, the rest is history—
I saw all of it.
now, only disappointment....

I don't know how to respond to this. I want to believe with all my heart that he was coerced or made a foolish mistake without malice, but the prosecutor's office doesn't issue warrants for arrest unless they are convinced they have a solid case.
The only thing we can do is wait and see. Let's not pass judgment unless we have all the facts.

I'm sorry bro - I remember you back then in 2012 - Life's #1 fan. Really unfortunate about this whole thing

Fuck, man. Life was the shit. He's always been my #1 favorite, especially after NesTea quit playing. He was my age, my race and his style of play was awesome. Now that this has come to light..I just feel sad and sorry for him. I know it's a serious crime and offense, but I guess it hasn't been 100% proven yet (to the public at least), and he might have been forced into it. More pros have spoken about this, namely CranK where he was threatened if he didn't matchfix (in the end he didn't I think)
Either way this situation's all kinds of fucked up. This lessens the faith in korean SC2, legitimacy of Starcraft in general, it's terrible for the best player to ever touch Starcraft 2's legacy and his actual life (harhar the puns). With the criminal charges that he's going to have with him if he does get convicted and also some jail time. I just can't help but feel so bad for him. T_T

Anyone... But please not you...

GG :C What will I do now
I have no Parting vs Flash Rivalry And now no Parting Vs Life all in one year...

I'd like to see exactly which matches he threw if it turns out to be true. This is very depressing to think about, as a zerg player and Life fan. He's one of the best...

I understand that if someone breaks the law, he should pay the price.
That said, I still like Life, I like the way he plays, and I support him in whatever way is legal. If he streams, I am happy to donate to his stream.

He won't be allowed to stream AT ALL if proven guilty.

You don't get it. Those who are caught in Match Fixing, are not allowed to stream or benefit in any way from the this game at all. The only way sAviOr is making money is by playing BW in China. . He can't stream on Afreeca or Twitch or anywhere KeSPA and Blizzard can reach.
|
Little bit offtopic but sAviOr did stream BW and LoL on Afreeca, I do not know if he still streams though.

Ah I see, thanks for the information, I guess Kespa has not kept up with all the streaming, but when they realized how much money you can make they started looking into it.

This sucks He was one of the only two zergs i cheered for even against terrans. It looks serious but i hope gets cleared of these accusations somehow
