so basically, Life was REALLY bored, and gave his opponent not one but two games, to cheer him up a bit. But then he got back and won, because such is life.

He practically had the game won twice (fending off ByuL's 1-1 roach push decisively; that horrible fight in front of ByuL's natural shouldn't have happened) and a fight at ByuL's 3rd where he could have killed the 3rd but chose to battle ByuL's army with defender's advantage. And even in the end, ByuL did a massive remax from his bank, but lost like a dozen roaches immediately because they weren't on attack move. I feel like Life threw that game pretty hard. But that also means I feel that Life's ZvZ isn't that much of an issue (even though KT's Zerg lineup without Life is a bit weak meaning practice is a bit harder). | ||

Meh Life still has the best ZvZ in the world. BO3 and some BO losses don't mean that much. If he has a ZvZ in the playoffs he will be fine in a BO5/BO7. Life just has a way of gifting his opponents wins at the start of the series. I was a little worried about ZvP (especially post SH patch) which has been his weakest matchup but he absolutely crushed Trap. | ||

--- alright, i cannot find the vod for the match vs Symbol, but i just watched his match vs soO from like a week ago (which to my shame i had missed but hey, better later than never) and what a treat that was! Seeing these two giants is just incredible; between them, theres always decisions of finesse that win the game; Life with the excellent decision of adding infestors just as soO was attacking, ...and then the fungals on the queens, awesome ZvZ. Also when he scouted soO's burrowed roaches and forced them to retreat, wow. Superb play! | ||

He'll reign supreme until he decides that the lesser beings may squabble over the rest of the spoils by not practicing for half a year... ![]() | ||
