I'm glad to see him back, but I don't think he can do anything better than MC in mid-HOTS at this point.

Shame, since I was Parting's fan. His micro was even a few levels above herO and any other top protoss players. I still miss the time when Parting used to crush Maru in micro battles and went like 52 wins and 3 loses in PvT in, was it 2014 or 15?, the same year he practically retired.

I'm curious why he is coming back to SC2 which seems to be dwindling in popularity? Increased prize with Blizzcon? I want to know if Parting is really serious or if he is just saying that without commitment.

Does anyone know if he streams? I think he streamed in Chinese website but I can't find the address. I don't expect much from him in terms of achievement but I'm still interested.

73 wins/41 losses in top 100 GM KR server with a 5900 MMR is nothing to sneeze at being back for only one week.

I hope he means what he says.

He needs money. He said himself on stream he lives off of savings & I'm guessing those savings are dwindling. He never got picked up for a pro LoL team nor did he get insanely high on ladder despite playing 8-10 hours every single day.

I'm 99% sure he's jobless too.

We just have to wait & see. top 100gm on KR is really good. Is it enough to make a comeback to tournaments & win them? I don't know... I'm no expert.

Yeah, he streamed today. It looked like it was first time he played in months. Hopefully he regains passion for game, otherwise it will end up like previous attempts to come back.

It's tough when a guy has been away from the sport that long and at the age of 23. So many changes and patches.

For him to regain his form as a top 10 player will be miraculous.

He would not be coming back unless he is doing well enough in ladder. Nobody can better judge where he is at in his game than he.

It's understandable why some players might want to come back again. The huge playoff in some tournaments like Blizzcon, WESG and IEM and the perception that Protoss is OP. A 3rd or 4th place finish at Blizzcon paid more than winning a GSL.

Streaming right now to only 75 people, by comparison Zest has 800.

He has a long way to go to be a top 10 player again. MMR is 5500, ranked 44 in Masters. Can certainly get better if he is willing to put in the 12 hours a day.

As a protoss player I'll keep a close eye on his builds and see if his micro is coming back. His micro with blink Stalkers in 2015 was superb. He was the Protoss equivalent of Byun.

Parting, friend just keep working hard and we'll support you.

Well he's up to ~400 or so, not bad. Close to 6k mmr but he is playing somewhat differently than other pros.

Hope he can make it to GSL season 2.
