Nope. The only foreigners that can make it to Blizzcon now are Bunny and Scarlett, but Snute is out.

 wall of text blog! I have some news now that WCS is almost over. A lot of people were cheering for me to make it to Blizzcon, I was cheering for me too. But it is not a big deal not making it, I did my best at every competition I went to and will keep doing so, so whatever. There's too much good stuff forward to look forward to. 2014 was really good with a decent increase in average skill, but it's time for a short rest. As you guys know I rarely take time off but now there's a lot of things I need to take care of to focus on SC2 again. Some sub-par performances have started to sprinkle in a little more often than they should so here's the plan! - This month (October) will be the first month where I won't travel to an international offline event, after a pretty stacked schedule this will be a needed change of pace there's a lot of things I need to take care of in RL that will take a lot of time so I won't be playing much now.- Something that seemed a bit like the beginning of a carpal tunnel type of problem struck me a few weeks ago. I have pretty bad-ass super resilient hands that can be pushed really hard but I still know enough to respect it and cut practicing at this point, so things will be chill for now and my hands are feeling 95% okay so it's all good, no permanent damage. - Keeping up with KR levels of practice and this amount of tournaments/travel was a bit tricky and I haven't kept up in the exercise department well enough. Looking back it was a bit disappointing but for the future I will now cut practice if it's not taken care of. - I'll still wrap up a few online tournaments, including the Foreign Hope tournament. But I won't be practicing for it as I usually would and my recent form is down so just hoping for the best here. Sorry about this in advance, right now I probably won't be the "best foreigner"  - After this I will play a lot less tournaments for a while. I'm having the best results when I can grind a lot of games, watch a ton of VODs, play a lot of tournaments and truly enjoy SC2. Right now I don't do this because of the stuff above and I'm also not content with my practice situation. + Show Spoiler [2015 life situation stuff] + It's a somewhat common problem for SC2 pros to spend time moving around basically lacking a proper environment and dealing with that in the middle of a season is not in my interest. I want to play tons of EU online/offline stuff with home base in Norway, freedom to visit friends/family here, freedom to go to Korea/International for a month or so ^^ Being a pro in Norway is not easy since you kinda need to make a lot of money. Renting is about $1200 per month if you want to live alone and it's not easy to justify that with traveling to Korea for a month for example. Buying however is a good investment. An average cheap entry apartment is about $170.000 here - it is expensive, but at some point I have to get going with it anyway growing older as a Norwegian citizen (no plans of leaving the country long term). I've been at many tournaments and placed decently so hopefully it is somewhat realistic and possible^.^ Staying with and relying on family and friends for a place to live/practice doesn't feel right to me and I enjoy living alone while living the SC2 life so I want to make this work. It's the same with team houses in Korea, you need some goodwill and I'm not very comfortable with it long-term because of my lacking language skills. It's my wish to go to Korea at some point again next year for medium-short stays but the goal right now is to establish a proper home situation in Norway for 2015 with the opportunity to go to Korea too. What this will mean for the future is that I won't be streaming/playing very well this month, maybe the remainder of the year will be a bit of a slump, but it's all for the better next year I will turn up the practice a lot before DH:Winter but it's still a while away. Will do as much as possible until then.My goal for 2015 is to increase my level even further, this year so far compared to last one felt like a +30% skill boost, next goal is top KR level So thank you for all the support this year, even though it is not over!
