People tend to forget that IMMvp had lots of issues the first time he came to GSL. He got eliminated pretty easily in the early seasons of GSL, despite having a "strong" BW background. Now, Mvp is rated one of the best players at the moment.

ForGG you're awesome. Keep on fighting!

In hindsight I'm actually glad the intense focus and attention is off him now. All the bandwagoners have jumped ship. I'd rather just enjoy his games without all the controversy and overhype. His style is strong and fun to watch, even if it didn't automatically win him Code S first time around.

You mean THE best.

Do people not realize that he's not 'mucking' around on stream, he's practicing timings? I mean, he was known for his sick timings in BW and they don't just create themselves? He tries stuff on ladder and tweaks it to see if he can get more out of it. In my opinion this is better practice than how most pros do it (by doing the same thing a million times)

He has a good shot at making it back into Code S. All he has to do is win 3 Code A Bo3s and he's certainly good enough to do it.
He lost to the best ZvT in the world and the best Protoss in the world, not the worst way to go out.

Not bad considering it's only the first of many modern BW pros to follow.

NesTea if i am correct Yes and DRG two very high lvl zergs who i would put top before leenock but still forgg losing to leenock is not shame but just dont like people saying without any backup story " well he is the best ZvT player in the world" cuz u really cant say that ^^

Even if its not best in the world its easily top 3 ZvT. And ForGG played very, very well against him! He didn't win but he still impressed me a lot with his play in a very tough group!

ForGG will be back.

In general I like players who show constant agression and timing attacks and he was great at it but seemed to wanna play macro terran ForGG will be back. he always changes up from what he does on ladder to mindfuck his opponents, like vs polt when he went mech instead of bio when he had been bioing on ladder. micro/macro game no different. he can do both. the micro is just one aspect he has shown.
but it's obvious that at the moment, his macro game is not good enough to hang with the best. there i said it. but not because he can't macro. it's just because he doesn't know the game well enough to continuously make the right decisions in a long game. it's like chess (comparing starcraft to chess for the nth time) - openings are all preparation, midgames are all talent, endgames are all experience. he has all the talent but not the experience, as evidenced in the first game vs leenock, where he won out of the opening but couldn't capitalize on it, like mvp would if he was playing the same position.
it was sad to see him cry when he got knocked out but it's encouraging to see how much he expects out of himself. not many (at least 'logical') people expected him to royal road the gsl, but it appeared as if he was one of them.
and yes, he will be back
