She also follows CNN, NPR, and Barak Obama. She must be one of those rare people who listens to all sides of an issues and makes up her own mind.

Day9 tends to mix in a lot of technical stuff that is very helpful once you get a bit more experienced but might be overwhelming when you just started. While Husky seems to be more easy and entertaining to watch if you are just new to the game. Maybe it's also a good idea too to make a top 10 things to watch when you are new to the scene, like day9 daily 100, the GSL, some sc1 history, for example the boxer and nada documentaries that shows the prime of the epic korean scene with the fangirls, TLOwnage, stuff like that.

I agree, Husky was the one who got me excited for this game even tho I don't really enjoy watching him anymore. I think for a new player it's best to get excited about the game, if you are excited and motivated learning will follow naturally.

Yeah, huskies was fun in the beginning when he was casting Brood War matches, and early SC2, but now I feel that he used himself up to an extent. Rather see her with 2GD and TotalBiscuit for her first game tbh... Day9 would just be toooo boring imo.
