Jeez, Polt loses to Ganzi AGAIN 2-1.
Seems like Complexity's plan to beat Polt is to do early game timings, kill off his economy, and then just mass up. Even when Polt took better fights against Ganzi, it didn't matter due to the heavy contain and eco disadvantage. He does better against players like Taeja, Gumiho, Mvp, etc. who like to play into the late game. The one game Ganzi didn't get an early lead due to his push, Polt just won in the late game with positioning.
Looks like his road will be Thorzain -> ToD/Sheth -> Crank/Violet/Bomber to get into top four. He should be able to do it, but he looked overall shaky the entire day. His GSL form is not transitioning to foreign waters.

At least coL Terrans are smart enough to analyze Polt's builds, I'll give them that. But seeing Stephano vs Polt would have been favorable to GanZi really. Polt always does a lot better in Loser's bracket like MLG, and the LB isn't too challenging, so I expect at least a top 3 placement.

Polt is facing ThorZaIN tomorrow for LSC. I remember the MSI Pro Cup finals where Polt just DESTROYED ThorZaIN horribly in those sets. Despite the whole DreamHack loss, Polt should win this 2-0 easily.

Damn Ganzi always seems to have Polts number :/ I still see Polt winning this though when he proceeds to stomp through the LB into a Polt vs Stephano finals :D

Polt loses 0-2 to BabyKnight. First time he's gone to a foreign tournament and won $0. Even in his wins, he didn't look very strong.
If he plays like this against Parting/Sniper/Innovation, he's going out 0-4. Hopefully he turns it around. Just weirdly sloppy, uninspired play all weekend. I dunno what happened.

And yup hope he goes into beast mode again for GSL (though in korea he has been looking beastly)

Polt lost to BK 2-0... This is the guy Polt just 2-0'd at MLG, and now Polt loses like this and makes no money...
Jeez, looks like staying in Korea was the better decision this time. Hopefully he is better for GSL, but man, Polt might be eliminated in GSL if he continues to play like this.

Overall a bit disappointing results from LSC2, but guess it can' t be helped and its better to move on and forget about it. Hopefully this form won' t carry over to the GSL and that he will make it to the Ro8.

Aww no Polt at DH, especially sad because Polt had very little competition if Polt were to go in full force. I guess Polt really wants TSL to make it to the GSTL finals for once, or just does not feel very confident in himself to win considering the horrible failure of LSC. Hope his mentality is ready for Ro16, which will really challenge him in his LSC-state.

Aw a shame about DH but with GSTL I understand.
Hope Polt can put LSC behind him and get rested and prepared for GSL really want to see him get ro8 so he is secure next season.

Polt still has quite a lot of redemption tournaments around the corner, including GSTL semis, GSL Ro16, IPL5 and NASL. I would say NASL is Polt's best chance at a championship, as long as he does not get upset by a player in the Ro16-Ro8, and is able to avoid Stephano or HyuN until the finals.
