Hmm, I'm pretty worried for Polt's condition and Ro16 play-ready level because he appears a little broken after the results of LSC. If Polt somehow got over his mini-slump and had enough time to study and rest in the two days, he still has a chance at second place in the group. If he continues from the post-LSC slump, he probably will go 0-4 in his group. I still believe that Polt can do it with smart builds (e.g. Hellionshee build), but he really has to play at his best now, not even 90% will suffice.

Peeked at the results when at work. After seeing Polt vs Parting I was all :D, then saw Polt vs Bogus and went :| and after Polt vs Sniper T_T.

Better luck next time and hopefully he' ll finally make it again into the Ro8.

Really sucks. Played a perfect series against Parting, was very unlucky vs. Bogus (G1 especially), and then Sniper just hard countered his two builds in back to back games.

Ah well, look on the bright side of things, at least Polt doesn't have GSL as a distraction from IPL5 this time around. As long as he has his mentality on check and plays better, Polt is a top three Terran in IPL5, or even the top four overall if he plays right. Plus there is NASL which is Polt's best chance at a second championship in 2012.
I just hope Polt is ready for GSTL, because TSL needs him as a Protoss and potentially Terran sniper against MVP.

Polt's already in WR4, so he really only needs to win two matches to make it into the money. He can win/get deep if he can dodge Life. I think he can beat anyone on any given day except Life.

Also I really hope TSL makes the finals. Would suck if Polt threw away his place in MLG last season to make it to the finals and failed, and then gave up a chance for huge money in an easier player field to try and make the finals again. Please get redemption against Sniper.

Heart is the scariest.

He should make it again no matter what, but who knows. Next Code S is the last Wings of Liberty season, so maybe with some new units, someone like Polt, who is king at making new strategies, will be able to get ahead of the group. He's already in the top echelon of players, but new units will help him.

He may be forced to play mech LOL, i just remembered that he doesn't like mech or thinks bio is much more fun to use. Won't be the only strategy of course, bio mech could be viable like marine, marauder, medivac with widow mines or marine-tank with widow mines etc

it's crazy if they actually do a Blizzard cup then again more starcraft=more awesome games so I won't complain.

Heart is the strongest contender there, because the coL "I maek mareen" build hard counters Polt's Banshee openers (which Polt goes about 70% of the time in TvT). But if he manages to study Heart's TvT and diversify his opening builds, he should do well. No one else really should scare Polt, save for TAiLS with his builds, but Polt's TvP is pretty strong recently.
