Well at least now he can afford to pay his new media, content workers. He didn't want to pay 600€ for 2 years of work to Maeh, without firing him, and how I think, he probably hired some people from China working for him now. $200(€150) should do I guess.

There is no shame at all in losing to him especially when Stephano is not at all in peak form and Hyun is playing some of the best zerg anyone has ever seen. I didn't see the games, but if he won 1 game then it's unfortunate that he couldn't pull off the upset, but not surprising at all.
In all, not a bad tournament for someone who has one of the toughest travel schedules in the game and who does not appear to be making any effort to practice. I hope he takes some time off and that we get to see him stream. He's not that much off his game; two or three weeks of regular practice and he'll be a world beater again.
My thoughts exactly,

lol, it's amazing that even when he's not playing well (for him) he's just rolling in it - for a pro gamer at least. No wonder he doesn't feel a pressing need to practice.

19k in november, he won LSC2, WHY THE FUCK ARE PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT A SLUMP? 19K!!!! If his every month had been that good he would've won 209k in 2012 so far, he won 128. So he's actually in top form. I wish The_Darkness and Meggiroth got banned from this thread.

It's funny how high level Stephano is and everyone says he's in a slump.
"What!? Only $19,000 in one month? EG CURSE!!!"

I hope he humiliates MC!

Well, to be fair, winning LSC2 was a far more impressive achievment than it seems. I mean, remember how Bomber played during this tournament, and see how he is playing now. Defeating him was a great performance. And his run at IPL5 is less disappointing that what he did at WCS and Dreamhack. (even though I think he should have won against both Hero and Hyun 2-0 but somehow throwed game 2 away).
|
He won 3 games 2-0 and lost 2 games 1-2 with a pretty big lead in both series in game 2, so he could have won all his games 2-0. If he's motivating to practice a bit after IPL, he'll be back fairly soon.

Bad unit control can be costly. It happens in SC2.
