Wow.. that FPS lag in his late game is a tragedy.
I didn't notice any of these issue the first day when he steamed....maybe its becoming a problem as he's using more xsplit frames. The first day, when he had nothing but camera I didn't see any.... now that he has all the EG windows its really painful to watch.
Like a champ, he just muscles through it though....I can't think of another top pro that would tolerate it.
Nothing phases the boss.

2k $ Alienware Laptop is more than enough for playing and streaming with all maximum graphics...
don't know why a guy who is a full time progamer doesn't own something like this. it's just the basic tool for a pro.

props to stephano though, he could have more fps by not streaming, but still does it, proof that he cares about the fans About that "terrible computer". So Stephano is playing on Khaldor's laptop? Even if EG won't buy its players computers to play on when they travel, EG really needs to help Stephano with travel arrangements so that he's set up wherever he goes. Why doesn't EG have a secretary or admin assistant that can help its players organize this sort of thing, and if they do, what the hell is he or she doing? I undertstand that the players also need to take some responsbility for this, but the fact Stephano has to play on some lousy laptop when he goes to Korea to train makes it seems, from my vantage point, like it's amateur hour at EG. It's not like it's anything to do with EG... they set up all their players, do they not? Being sponsored by Intel, SteelSeries, Kingston and Sapphire could help anyone build a desktop. Stephano's PC is en route, but newsflash - setting up in Korea doesn't happen overnight. It's not like he could just use some other players' PC, they're not in a game house. Why wasn't the laptop with Stephano when he got to Korea? I find it extraordinarily hard to believe that Stephano cannot get set up with a portable laptop that he could bring with him wherever he travels and that can handle streaming without significant FPS issues. EG, since it is a premier e-sports organization, must have a tremendous amount of knowledge about what sort of specs you would need for such a laptop, what sort of carrying case to buy, etc., so that what is currently happening doesn't happen? Perhaps they've told Stephano what he should buy and Stephano is too cheap to do so; then the blame rests partly with him. But to the extent EG is setting Stephano up in a house for his trip to Korea, why wouldn't someone there call ahead to see what sort of technology set up they have, etc. so that this can be avoided. Esports teams (and Stephano as well) just seem very disorganized and low level; perhaps they just don't have the funding to get good help, they're understaffed, etc. (which are all good excuses). Perhaps EG gains no benefit from Stephano streaming at all (which seem extremely unlikely to be true since Stephano's fame is increased by streaming and EG benefits from indirectly from that, else they wouldn't have signed him), so they're say "Fuck it -- Ilyes, you're a big boy. Figure it out". If that's their stance, that's silly, since he is their biggest investment. They need to take facilitating his training, achieving greater fame, etc. extremely seriously. These sort of constant issues with Stephano's internet set up imply it's amateur hour. No doubt Stephano is not helping the situation, but someone needs to baby sit Stephano then to make sure he's got an appropriate set up, if he's not able or willing to do this himself. It was really hard this time to prepare anything, since Stephano went to Korea earlier than what he said to me. I'm not a part of EG but usually i work on every little things like that and everything goes fine(was the case for every Korea trip he made before). About the computer i said to Stephano : ask for it. I think he just didn't before, He needs a good computer. Not only for streaming. He missed a lot of stuff (NASL for example) because of that and i think EG just saw that and made the move. I don't think EG is understaffed, it's just a lack of communication. They have everything Stephano needs but if he doesn't ask for it, nothing will happen, it's obvious. As i said earlier i have solutions for him. Even on a laptop like that, he can stream (maybe replace Xsplit by OBS for higher ingame FPS, disable some services & stuff). But again it's up to Stephano : ). I'm just waiting for him. I will try to do my best for you guys ( with Stephano) and fix what i can with what i have. Thanks for your support, it means a lot for him, hope to see you next stream, with higher FPS :p !
Thanks for the explanation; as i suspected Stephano seems like he's partly to blame EG still needs to hook him up since he's running their ads for four hours (although of course they are paying his salary so maybe they have hooked him up).

And Stephano wins 3-0 over BeastyQT as expected in the Stim to the win tournament.

Does Finale dislike Stephano for some reason? He's one of the first Koreans I've seen leave without a gg.

Well he did get spanked pretty hard maybe he is the Korean version of Idra

IIRC Finale also took a walkover win in NASL over Stephano, not accepting a rematch. Am I wrong here? Drama!?!?

Stephano may have a new team-mate soon, MMA. He would certainly be a good Terran to practice against.

As if Stephano ever trains with any EG members.......

I hope EG builds a gaming house in Korea, with Stephano, MMA, JYP, Puma, Thorzain,,Huk and Idra(if he gets back in shape), they have a strong line up to do well in GSTL(and in GSL)...

This was talked about in his last winner interview that he is the only player on ladder that high up with the same win rate as Life. Hmm, Life has 70% win rate damn.. http://www.sc2ranks.com/div/327143/
