Hi : ). I won't say EG ruined Stephano. Because he's still there. I think it's more about mails (sponsors). EG just took a decision in relation to this. Even in my position, i can't blame them for that. It's perfectly normal.
The main difference between Millenium & EG is visibility : when Stephano was on his old team, each time he made a mistake like that, he apologized the same way. But Millenium isn't EG. Like Benjamin99 said, sponsors aren't the same and there's not that much communication on TL from them. Mistakes are the same, but Evil Geniuses is bigger, the consequences are of same.
I'm pretty sad to see this by the way. People are complaining about the EG curse but they are making it. By posting on Reddit or seeking the first mistake to shutdown a person. It's clearly a gigantic troll : ).

Please let Stephano know that we are also unhappy that this situation has caused all this drama for him. We will watch him stream from Korea and still support him. Tell him not to be upset about this too much because we understand that people do make mistakes and we do not drop our support because of it. I am only speaking for myself of course but I am sure many of his fans agree.

Once I grew up, I realised that people say things that can be jokes. Or exaggerations. Or sarcasm. Or simply lies. It must be very difficult to go through life taking everyone's words at face value all the time.
I like him because he is a great talent in SC2 and he is great for the SC2 scene.

I didn't started this thread, for the little story i work with Stephano since well, the beginning and he contacted TL to give me this Fanclub (to do a better thing with it). I know White-ra is doing a lot, probably not in the same way of course.
But the main difference between White-ra and Stephano is ... 10 years around ^_^ . Stephano is just 19 when White-ra is 30. I don't say it's the main reason but i think White-ra has a lot more experience with community in general.
If you think i defend him in a way, well you're right. Because i saw the impact of that thing on him after it happened and trust me it wasn't the reaction of a guy who cares only about his bank account like you said : ). But i can understand you see him like that.

What probably annoys DarkSider or at least me is his lack of professionalism. He is obviously an excellent player and does provide his fans with all those updates, but things like this can really hurt E-Sport. I don't think that it did in this specific case, but imagine a Newspaper or News Site would have picked up that story. I myself have a pretty rough sense of humour (and i don't get Stephanos joke if it was one), but you can't tell these jokes as a representative of your team/company. It is totally fine if he tells these kind of jokes as Ilyes Satouri to a friend in private, but he did tell them as MǂStephano (from his professional account) and on stream and that's unprofessional.

I can totally understand your point. I won't say he didn't make a mistake and yes he has to think about that, clearly. Usually i can delete in a way some stuff like that when i "smell" the drama. But in that case it was impossible. I just told him to apologize quickly.
He's not doing that often by the way, i think it happened only twice (with the hasu joke include). Maybe it's already too much you're right, but don't think it was intended : ). I can understand the reaction of EG of course, for all the reasons you gave. And i still believe on the ability of Stephano to "adapt" to his new team without losing his touch.
Because he's not only a troll and he has more to give to the community. That's the main reason of my work for him every day.
