Amazing. =D Also, now we know why he did not look particulary impressive yesterday. He did not practice for a few days because he had no computer at his apartment in Paris. Stephano is just inspiring.

I think this group is worse for Stephano than the one with Puma and Daisy because there will be 2 other zergs and Huk is an aggressive/micro heavy protoss, that works quite well against stephano. Let's see if he has a better ZvZ than yesterday...

He said he hasn't played a ZvZ in two weeks - that's ... Bad. His mechanics are starting to fray at the edges, and he's taking worse engagements than he was before. The first game vs. Puma, which I think people here saw, was a great example - Stephano had the game in the bag during mid game but then made a series of mistakes that ended up with a last push through the middle that he barely won through - he had no bank, no fall back tech, and less than 45 drones. He wasn't injecting late game and had his hive sniped by a drop. That was sloppy, and people saw it - but what a lot of you guys didn't see was the first game vs. Daisy. He barely won that. It was on Daybreak, his favorite three hatch roach map, and he had a thin hold against Daisy's two base all-in and was then unable to pressure Daisy before the latter pushed out with a 150 food Protoss army before he got infestors. He had to base trade, and only won because Daisy failed to get a probe out of his base - that was smart decision making from Stephano to prevent Daisy from sending out a probe, but the game came down to the wire. Playing this way, I think Stephano is in trouble vs. SaSe, HerO, and Dimaga. Okay, SaSe I think he's prepared for, but there's still HerO and Dimaga, and Naniwa though he says he hasn't been practicing his PvZ. Those guys don't play around, and Stephano has to bring his best game and not be this sloppy when he faces them. Stephano needs to make that training trip and soon. His form is starting to deteriorate. I understand what you're saying but to put things in perspective he has the highest Elo of anyone in the world in international events and had pretty much the best recent nonGSL run commencing with Spring Arena (in the aggregate) of anyone including DRG, who was unceremoniously knocked out of the Arena, and Symbol, who shit the bed in group stages at MLG Championships. His worse result was a 5/6 at MLG Championships. The only thing that I find disappointing about Stephano is that he doesn't take SC2 more seriously because he is, pretty clearly, IMO, the most talented SC2 player around. He should be the undisputed best, but because he doesn't practice his mechanics aren't perfect.
