I feel too that it's not a surprise that he's not doing very well against T as I never been impressed by his play in this particular match-up. But I feel too that he can rise up his level, but maybe not enough for a full GSL run. Lacking a ton of results here, the Blizzard GSL Cup for example ( won against Hero & DRG, lost to MVP & MC), the showmatch against Tail (won 4 1), plenty of online results, especially in NASL3 & IPL3 qualifiers (plenty of wons againt koreans, MMA included)... Another exercice would be to separate online & offline events as well. What can be learnt is that he has a high code A / low-middle Code S level, and that his ZvT that was once his strength should be improved atm. He has worked on this recently as shown by his victories on Polt, Puma and Bomber, but players whose style is better countered by mutas still give him a lot of problems, as he doesn't master mutas as well as DRG.

His ZvZ is just insane I actually consider him a top 3 ZvZ player in the world. And if you take MC out of his ZvP he is doing amasing. When he goes to korea and got more time to work on his ZvT and can get it up by 10 to 15% he could go very fare in GSL. And btw you forgot Tails. Stephano beat Tails at the IPL 4 UK qualifier With respect to Protoss opponents, he also played typereal (at ASUS) and phoenix(?) (at the NASL qualifiers I believe). You should include the loss to MC at the Blizzard Cup, the victory against Hero at the Blizzard cup (and add in the victory against DRG and loss against MVP). As for Terran I think you're missing at least one series against MKP where he beat him in the online qualifiers at IPL3. He also beat MMA in those same qualifiers (which isn't there). If you compare his record here, it stacks up well in the aggregate against all Korean zergs and places him somewhere around the top 5 in the world (among Zerg), which I think is fair and pretty amazing given his extremely light practice schedule. Further all Korean zerg are pretty underwhelming against Terran these days so I don't view his somewhat poor vT record that unfavorably. I'm expecting big things from him this coming year.

That was from NASL3 qualifying? If you include online qualifiers then you need to add a 2-0 win over AnyPro, a 2-1 win over MKP and a 1-2 loss to Alive in the IPL3 Qualifier 2. Also a 2-1 win over Revival, a 2-0 win over Puzzle, and a 2-1 win over MMA in IPL3 Qualifier 3. Also what about his Blizzard Cup Results? Losing a game to MC and MVP but winning a game against Hero and DRG. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/IGN_ProLeague_Season_3/Qualifier_2 http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/IGN_ProLeague_Season_3/Qualifier_3 To answer to this and to other few posts just above, I did not choose the results at all. My methodology was plain and simple : just take a look at results aggregated by TLPD. So yes, there are some BO3 lacking, especially all of those played in Blizzard Cup. And yes, I did not make any distinction between online and offline. But feel free to improve my post ![]() edit : I might improve it myself, but not today, I too busy now.
