dear god nestea just dominated the last gsl
holy shit
didn't drop a single game at all during the finals
i'm still a fan of fruit dealer because he won the first gsl despite zerg sucking, but at this point there is no question that nestea is by far the best zerg player, hell the best sc2 player, period.

In July, IMNesTea reached the finals without losing a single set. Combined with his 4-0 victory in the previous finals and +1 win in the semi-final, this puts him at a 15 game winning streak. Since he also went 4-0 in the GSL July finals, NesTea managed to win GSL July without dropping a single game, continuing his massive win streak (19 game winning streak).
Wow....What a surprising records...!! You are my fantasy IMNesTea!

Wow....What a surprising records...!! You are my fantasy IMNesTea! But he lost in the GSL Super Tournament to TOP. So his current win streak is 13 games, I believe.

Nestea to MLG pleasee!! this guy is a freaking BEAST.

Bonjwa or not Nestea is currently playing a different game to anyone else right now, just a level above even the best of the best.
|
to put in to perspective how huge a 13 game winning streak is, in the 10 years of osl's and msl's there has never been a streak longer than 11
|
So why ist MVP at MLG but Nestea is not?

The GSL finals were on at the same time as MLG.

I think GSL are afraid of sending him to MLG. He would dominate so much that it would not even be fair.
There are some players in GSL that could put a good fight against NesTea, but that's all .

Lol and his teammate mvp roflstomps MLG. Incredible Miracle should get a fanclub having 1st and 2nd at GSL and 1st at MLG.

So funny, but so true. Good job sir.
This time, it seems that our Professor will face stronger opponents in the groupe stage. We will see some epic games imo

It's not so much that, it's more that GSL is sending Korean players that they want to see get Code S and Code A spots. The GSL format can be unforgiving, so this is a quick in for great players that can get screwed by the tournament system. For example, DongRaeGu is probably good enough to be Code S, definitely Code A, but has been stopped in the up/down matchups before. If he'd won, he'd be in Code S right away.
