TOP just played better that day. But on the bright side, Mr. Tea's schedule just opened up, maybe he can go to dreamhack! I would kill for him vs Idra. Both have impeccable ZvZs.

From what I see, they realized any mid or late game play would fail, they would need to get him behind early, and thats what they did. Still great that he kept playing, it shows a real "eye of the tiger" attitude. Thats what I love about GSL. I completely agree that the oGs team sat down and PLANNED that. I love when players prepare rather then just go in with their standard stuff. TOP, a macro player, knew his macro was inferior so he exploited Nestea's weakness. It was a really good series from both players. I was on the edge of my seat all three games wondering if nes could pull it off.

Usually I see Top winning by outproducing the other guy, even though he makes a lot of mistakes. Here Nestea gained on him, despite being behind. However, it has always been apparent, since season 2, that to beat NesTea you have to do it in early game, because of his high economy style, and strong decisionmaking, when he has options. It is my personal opinion that the oGs squad sat down, watched all of NesTea's replays, and discovered a chink in his armour that they could exploit. Still great that he kept playing, it shows a real "eye of the tiger" attitude. But effective relentless pressure from Top in all three. Though I would have loved to see Nestea go through, both played great. And I guess Top deserved it the most. Really thought he was gonna crack after game 2, so kudos for that. Nestea played better in this tourney than I had projected, and incredible he never gave up, or even made the games competitive, despite being relatively far behind in all three.
