I'm so conflicted about the Semi-finals and who I want to advance. I'm a huge fan of both jjakji and MVP, but I kind of don't want another mirror in the finals. If that comes at the expense of MVP getting ahead of Nestea in championships again, though, then I'm not sure if I care. Go get 'em, game genie.

the loss was the fact that he started tanks too late, and lost 3 full medivacs essentially for free the moment leenock broke out and double expo'd, it was over. that map is atrocious, small distances yet a ton of paths to come from, zerg mobility shits on everything, and even though mvp had his 3rd cc, near impossible to take and maintain 3rd base. not to mention the constant fear of burrowed banelings, that somehow only leenock uses (other zergs need to step it up) if only mvp won crossfire, but even that's a retarded map. i only like 2 of the 3 maps in the pool, and go figure, its the 2 that are large. ![]() anyway i digress, leenock prepared well and played well

great series, tough loss. maybe biased but I think he should really have won. Certainly the game on dual sight he was in an incredible position in midgame up in supply and keeping leenock pegged back on bases, I'd have picked him to win that 9/10 times. letting the nydus go up on crossfire was unfortunate too T_T oh well, he'll just have to win the blizzard cup

I need to get that replay.

Yeah i have a few monitors so i can play or do some work (writing & reading) and have streams going on + i have streams up on my laptop while in school too and almost no players make the type of decisions Mvp makes. When he knows his drop wont be able to take out a crucial tech building he just manually aims for things he knows will die, other top players just drop in between minerals or behind them and go back to macro or try to chase workers that are being moved to avoid dmg and end up killing just 1-2 drones. When he has his marines out of his siege tank range and lings are about to surround he purposely stims to get them to attack and then loads into the medivac asap to draw the lings into siege range so they take dmg and he only takes the stim dmg. I can go on but when you watch amazing players like DeMuslim, TLO or Major and then you watch an Mvp game you can really tell the awesomeness in his play. It sucks that there arent a lot of his reps out there so we can see more of his first person view.

But one setback doesn't mean MVP is done for. This dude is still a frigging beast, and he's not going away anywhere anytime soon ![]()
